This was an extremely technical and challenging role involving working side by side with Senior Engineering Officers to to design, test and operate extremely technical and sensitive HF communications equipment. Also involving acting as a decision maker, regarding the daily allocation of resources, between experimental and operational environments. Done with the overall aim of balancing the financial viability of the project, as well as ensuring constant improvements due to availability of new technology.

Providing up to the minute intelligence, in real-time, to troops on the ground in Afghanistan. This is an extremely high pressure role where timeliness of intelligence is of the highest priority. All information and reports produced are extremely accurate and have the potential to save lives.  This is achieved using software tools such as i2 Analyst Notebook and ArcGIS.
