I am an experienced military communicator with 10+ years in the field highlighting service members and facilitating news media "on the scene" and on base. My operational and strategic assignments include serving as the chief spokesperson and communications advisor for units with up to 4,000+ personnel, managing deployed teams of public information specialists, and directing a Media Operations Center for a large-scale national news event. My experiences also include public affairs planner on the Army Staff and acting deputy public affairs director for a strategic military headquarters managing Army operations in the Middle East. I was privileged to earn a graduate degree in communications from a top-tier, award-winning university. My specialties are communication strategy, media analysis and relations, speech writing, crisis communications, and community relations.
