Achievement:

1)	Sapura Kencana Integration – successfully drive the integration process activities such as spend baseline, Procurement policy & procedure harmonization, standardization on  internal & external forms and achieving synergies cost savings
2)	Significant improvement in Operation Buyer SLA from 56% to 76% and cost savings from initial 1% to 5%. This improvement is a result from the published Procurement Scorecard and periodic communication on Procurement KPI.
3)	Successfully managed and launched Procurement System ie Ariba, SAP, and Procurement Portal timely 
4)	Successfully drive and implement GST (procurement section) for SKPB Group with 98% success rate
5)	Cleaned up Approved Vendor List database by maintaining the active vendors and reducing non-active vendors by 25%

1)	Worked closedly with Procurement Vice President in the Acquisition Framework project. The objective of the project is to establish an Acquisition framework that will govern all acquisition activities undertaken by the Company. This is an enhancement to the existing Acquisition policies and procedures, controls and compliance monitoring.

2)	Team cost savings for Year 2010 of RM 34 Million, as a result from strategic negotiation

3)	Achieve 87% service level turnaround time for Purchase Order processing by Procurement Team

Sony Electronics

Sony EMCS Malaysia 
Responsible to expedite and control the overall procurement, suppliers, receiving and material control activities to ensure the production is run smoothly.
 
 Achievement:
Successfully implemented 2 major Supply Chain Management Project as the following:

 1) Consignment Warehouse in year 2002
  The good which is stored in Sony is the property of the Vendor until they are issued out to Sony production.    61 vendors participated in this project and achieve an Inventory Saving of RM 6.1 milllion

 2) Vendor Management Inventory in year 2003 with Sony Trading Japan vendors
Using a third party warehouse (located at Narita airport) to keep vendors' good, which are under vendor’s liabilities. The objective is to reduce Purchase Order leadtime from 30 day to 10 day.	

3) As an auditor for Sony Green Partner. Audited a few local vendors to make sure that they comply with Sony Environment Standard, which the raw material that they supply to Sony do not contain any ban substances such as Cadmium, Mercury etc

I was in corporate senior management over the last decade.
I saved millions of dollars for the companies.
 
However, I witnessed one of my relative’s struggles.

He exhausted his EPF money at age sixty and had to do odd jobs.
It was so heartbreaking to see him struggle to support his family at that age.
