Oversee all accounting operations including recording transactions, producing financial statements, filing taxes, adhering to policies and processes and reconciling accounts.
•	Perform month-end book closer functions, prepare monthly closing journal entries, and complete account reconciliations

•	Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy and applying recommendations to operational issues
•	Maintain Labor tracking systems
•	Prepare multi-state sales and use tax, excise, and franchise tax returns
•	Ensure customer exemption certificates for completeness
•	Ensure quarterly estimated income taxes are paid on time

Finance Manager

AHG Group, LLC

•	Establish automated accounting systems for new entities in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
•	Responsible for the administration of corporate-wide health and life insurance policies and evaluation of insurance policies on an annual basis. 
•	Maintains primary responsibility for the management and oversight of company-wide financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly accruals, depreciation, write offs, interest expenses, and all other general journal entries.

Controller

The Battery Recycling Co.

•	Recruited and trained staff members which included performance evaluations of personnel.
•	Oversaw internal audit function to ensure fraud prevention, evaluation of financial operations and compliance with regulations 
•	Directed corporate-wide accounting functions including purchase order approvals, aged payable disbursements, PO's expense codification and invoices, and monthly aged payables used for proper account reporting and contributed to margin analysis based on international prices.
