Overall Key Responsibilities Academic /System Monitoring / VET Quality & Compliance • Managing the day to day function. • Undertaking internal, external audit, industry validation and consultation regularly. • Facilitating monthly staff meeting, professional development. • Monitoring staffs’ performance as per Quality Assurance Guidelines. • Ensure training and assessments are conducted as per the Training Package requirements and any licensing / regulatory requirements. • Manage Training packages on scope during the transition period and ensure that learners are offered the most recent version of the available package • Compliance with the AQF, VQF, National Code 2007, SRTO’s relevant legislations. • Contributing to continuous improvement. • Managing staff performance, as per college policies and procedure, and for implementing operational responses to meet the objectives of the strategic goals and managing staffs’ KPI's. • Attending and leading regular team and management meetings – action points and following up on staff action points • Proven RTO team management experience with a strong track record of building, motivating and engaging staff. Skills, Knowledge & Experience • In-depth knowledge in VET sector. • Understanding of RTO and NVR compliance standards and requirements, knowledge of the VET sector, ESOS Standards (National Code), SRTO 2015 (Standard for registered training organizations. • The ability to apply innovative training techniques, create original and adaptable training • Knowledge of Student Management System like ‘aXcelerate’. • Proven ability to plan for and achieve both short term and long term objectives.
