I have always loved understanding people’s problems, needs, and desires - it’s what drove me to a digital marketing career. Starting in a sales role after graduating from University, I learned first-hand the importance of understanding the customers’ problems and demonstrating a practical solution. I developed strong communication skills and gained relevant experience with outbound marketing. After my experience in sales, I was employed in my current role at Express Electrical & Engineering Supplies ltd to help launch their digital marketing strategy. As a one-person marketing department, I understood the importance of researching the target customer, industry, and most appropriate marketing channels. I have used my analytical, creativity, and problem-solving skills to communicate with customers via email campaigns, social media, website content and paid campaigns. Some of my achievements so far ; ✅Improved ROAS from Google ads from 0.5 -5 in less than 6 months. ✅ Grew an email list of 500 + customers and implemented multiple successful email campaigns. ✅Launched a blog and provided ongoing improvement to Google rank position. Working as a digital marketer has also allowed me to gain experience with multiple marketing platforms. These include programmes such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Mailchimp, Google Ads and SEMrush. When I’m not working, I am always trying to improve my knowledge and skills. I have completed the Fast Futures program by Avado and completed courses in Google Ads, SEO and social media marketing.
