As a Senior Recruiter at Duke University, I am passionate about finding and attracting the best talent for the university's IT and data needs. I manage the full cycle recruiting process, from sourcing and screening candidates, to conducting interviews and negotiating offers, to onboarding and retaining new hires. I also partner with hiring managers, HR teams, and external vendors to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring experience for all stakeholders. I have a strong background in technical recruiting, having worked for Prime Video & Amazon Studios, Alorica, and Verizon Business in the past. I have developed and implemented effective recruiting strategies, such as using social networking, Boolean searching, and executive recruiting, to build a diverse and qualified candidate pipeline. I have also demonstrated my skills in human resource management systems, data management, project management, and program design implementation, as well as my communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. I hold a Masters of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from North Carolina Central University, where I gained valuable knowledge and skills in IT and data systems. My goal is to leverage my education and experience to help Duke University achieve its vision and mission.
