• Training: Developed training administered in person and online. Provided consultation, training and technical assistance to new and current sponsoring organizations on procurement, food service management, record keeping and reporting, fiscal accountability, compliance issues, nutrition integrity, menu planning, food safety and sanitation, nutrition education, ethnic foods, Civil Rights, ADA accommodations and special diets.  
• Program Development: Participated in the streamlining of the recruitment and application process. Promoted partnerships and collaborative efforts by continuing to partner with Oregon's Child Care system to increase and improve program participation, program management and social support for healthy eating habits and nutrition education.

• Management: Supervised Monitor/Trainers, with oversight of new employee orientation training facility for Navy Child Youth Programs division. USDA, CACFP Sponsoring Organization. Oversight of Parent involvement Committee and Monthly Evaluation Team, military subsidy, respite services and hourly care program. Coordinated services for special needs. Submitted state and national criminal history background checks. 
• Financial Management: Gathered statistical data and compiled reports, tracked subsidies paid to providers, conducted annual market rate study, managed budget and CACFP food program. Oversight of lending library with more than 50,000 items accessed by the Child Development Homes, 7 centers, and 2 school age programs. Procured and shipped items to CYP programs at Barking Sands and Guam. 
• Training and Recruitment: Oversight of training facility for CYP Pearl Harbor. Recruited, trained, licensed, managed, monitored, and maintained approximately 120 certified in-home childcare providers, serving approximately 580 children. Created a provider a training lab classroom environment within training facility to promote supervised, hands-on learning experiences, which saved the Navy thousands of dollars each month in child care fees for participants in training. 
• Program Coordination: Created MOU's and collaborated with military and civilian agencies. Facilitated Home Accreditation process with NAFCC and CDA preparation training. Facilitated the Multi-disciplinary Team inspection comprehensive reviews of CYP operations fiscal years 2004 and 2005. 
• Policy and Public Relations: Revised Parent Handbook and CDH SOP's, collaborated on the revision of local policies and procedures for CYP Drafted MWR advertising for Great Life Hawaii. Performed public relations duties at informational fairs and deployment briefings. Collaborated in organizing community MWR base family events such as Month of the Military Child.

Duties Summary
• Reservist: Engineer Battalion Senior Enlisted female (Sergeant, E5). Completed Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO training) and Military Administration training at Cherry Point. As the Senior Motor-pool Sergeant, lead battalion convoys during two-week drills. Completed administrative tasks for battalion during monthly week-end drills. Lead formations and physical training. Completed additional courses on topics such as Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Warfare through the College of the Air Force.
