I am in charge of the Cloud DevOps aspects around the Nebo (https://www.nebo.app/) application ecosystem, which includes:

- improving existing architectures in order to make them highly available, scalable, fault-tolerant and self-healing
- migrating existing architecture provisioning mechanisms to infra-as-code (AWS CloudFormation)
- optimising deployment workflows into continuous deployment and zero-downtime workflows (i.e. blue-green deployment)
- reworking on-premise applications info serverless architectures (AWS Lambda + Step Functions)
- FinOps: AWS cost optimisation

I was in charge of a team of four people with the task of helping them grow into being autonomous in application and system operational maintenance.

I then made us board the DevOps transitioning train in order to streamline the company workflows which involved the IT department, with missions such as:
- designing and producing an efficient system and applicative monitoring system (ELK stack, sensu, Graylog, applicative probes coded in NodeJS)
- company-wide support on the internal production web applications (AngularJS, NodeJS, Java, nginx)
- Automation (Ansible)
- CI/CD (Jenkins)

I helped create a small language school centered around remote French speaking classes for foreign students and professionals. My tasks were:
- creating the website and managing its contents
- designing state-to-the-art pedagogical resources in regards to technology and integrating them to the website
- tutoring as a French-as-a-foreign-language teacher to students and professionals and helping them with French administrative paperwork :)

Hi 👋, I am Kim-David!

After 15 years spent exploring software engineering (successively as developer, ops, devops, and cloud engineer), I fell in love with no-code.

What is no-code, you say? Well, it is the promise to be able to create software without the need to know how to code 🙌🏻.

Since then, I've been pursuing both of those passions at Breizh e-nov where I train people to become citizen developers and help them propel them craft to new heights.

And that is precisely my very motivation: to contribute (albeit humbly at my own level!) to a subject I'm passionate about. As I often say: I'd rather drive the locomotive 🚂 than barely make it onto the last car 🚃

In my spare time, I practice piano 🎹, dance 🕺 (lindy hop and west coast swing), badminton 🏸 and chess ♘
