•	Designed ITE 152 Introduction to Digital and Information Literacy and Computer Applications and Redesigned Online Primary Course for ITE 115 Microcomputer Applications and Concepts, ITN 106 Microcomputer Operating Systems, ITN 260 Network Security Basics, and ITN 267 Legal Topics in Network Security for full-time and adjunct faculty.
•	Support students in their efforts to secure internships, industry certifications, employment, and/or gain admission to 4-year institutions. 
•	Design and develop curricula, courses, syllabi, methods and tools for measuring learning outcomes and student success, textbooks, materials, laboratory and technical resources for several IT courses, including reviewing for relevancy, current IT certifications, and compliance with regional and specialized accreditation requirements
•	Create IT Challenge Exams for students who wish to challenge core courses
•	Provide support for TCC’s goals and objectives that advance retention efforts; oversee, administer, and support the IT programs
•	Partner with VB Public Schools in STEM recruiting and retention

Professor

Provide supervisory management in the areas of class scheduling, staffing, and textbooks; manage adjunct faculty; serve as liaison to full-time faculty, advise and assist students with degree and class issues; and assist the dean in all matters regarding the division/pathway. Further responsibilities include management of IT challenge exams, curriculum development, and cultivating relationships with academic, business and industry partners. 
•	Recruit, assess, and recommend adjunct faculty; mentor, manage, and supervise IT adjunct faculty at the division and pathway level for Tidewater Community College
•	Primary Investigator responsible for the application, budgeting, and management of the following grant projects: Norfolk State University National Science Foundation CyberCorps Scholarship for Service (NSU NSF SFS), Old Dominion University CyberPathways, ODU National Science Foundation Scholarship for Service CyberCorps Cyber LeADERS, Partnership with William & Mary University in creating Legal Topics in Cybersecurity open access class; & collaboratie with ODU and GMU in Misinformation Research
•	Assist in the designation of the Cybersecurity program as a National Security Agency Center of Academic Excellence for Two-Year schools (NSA-CAE2Y) sanctioned by the National Security Agency and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and participate in the ongoing accreditation of TCC’s NSA CAE2Y designation
•	Work with my colleagues to create, develop, and market the quickly growing cybersecurity specialization, which is now a stand-alone degree program by attending middle school career days in VB, host NASA Space Grant Consortium Cyber Day at TCC, partner with VB public schools on dual enrollment & K-12 recruitment
•	Collaborate with state and local city governments, businesses, schools, and higher ed institutions in supporting the TCC cybersecurity program & providing internships, mentors, guest speakers, & partnerships
