I'm a Dr. Rer. Nat. (Doctor of Natural Sciences) specialized in the fields of transcriptomics, plant developmental and evolutionary biology, breeding, agriculture and bioinformatics. My research deals with evolutionary and developmental regulation of angiosperms and the flower. I have experience in working in an accredited laboratory and I excel in wide range of different laboratory technologies and subsequent analyses including: -Transcriptomics -DNA barcoding -Cryosectioning and Laser Microdissection -VIGS (Virus-induced Gene Silencing) -DNA editing, recombinant vectors and bacterial transformation -Cell cultures including bacterial cultures and plant tissue cultures -Plant tissue transformation with Agrobacterium, particle bombardment and electroporation -Tools of genetic bioinformatics and sequence analysis including R based packages
