In a matter of months, I transitioned from my position at Picture Shop to join the corporate team at Streamland Media. In my capacity as the inaugural Senior Vice President of Culture and Engagement at Streamland Media, I was tasked with the strategic development, implementation, and enhancement of employee engagement initiatives aligned with the company's fundamental values of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Health and Wellness, and Sustainability. I developed programs for over 3,000 employees working in the entertainment industry across five countries to foster a purpose-driven culture. The programs included: 

> Forming committees that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), health and wellness, and sustainability. 
> Establishing Culture Clubs aka Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). 
> Collaborating with influential organizations to prioritize hiring individuals from underrepresented groups. 
> Setting up charity initiatives, including Charity Miles, to support Ecology. 
> Creating the Mind Shift Series, a platform for hosting inspiring speakers. 
> Serving as a liaison between five global brands and their existing programs.

Picture Shop Post

Following the acquisition of Sim by Streamland Media, I continued managing the day-to-day operations in New York. This included overseeing sales activities, staffing, budgeting (covering capital expenditures, property, plant, and equipment, profit and loss, labor costs, and revenue), and maintaining strong client relationships within the industry.

After receiving a promotion, I assumed a role where I supervised Finishing Services across the company, which included operations in New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto. Additionally, I continued to fulfill my responsibilities as the General Manager in New York. 

During this period, I co-founded and served as the chair of Sim's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program, playing a pivotal role in cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace. Additionally, I actively participated as a member of Sim's Environmental, Social, and Governance Board to provide oversight. I also collaborated closely with the Sustainability and Communication teams to promote sustainable practices and develop effective communication strategies.

Following an internal reorganization, I oversaw the daily operations, sales initiatives, staffing, and budgeting for the New York division. Alongside these responsibilities, I actively fostered and nurtured strong client relationships within the New York region.

I spearheaded establishing a new audio team comprising five talented individuals while overseeing the construction and development of three additional stages and a dedicated VO/ADR booth for their use. It was an exciting period, and I made it a point to prioritize promoting women and underrepresented groups into leadership positions, further enhancing the diversity and inclusivity of our team.

After the acquisition of Post FactoryNY by Sim, I continued my leadership role overseeing operations at the facilities located in TriBeCa and Soho. During the merger, I played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth integration of services across teams. Additionally, I actively collaborated with the wider Sim team on a global scale, making substantial contributions to developing and implementing software programs such as Salesforce, Dayforce, and R2. Moreover, I spearheaded the development of Xytech/Media Pulse and helped introduce it as the scheduling software for Sim. Working closely with engineers and the Head of Operations, I also played a pivotal role in constructing a DI Theater.

Post FactoryNY

After entering a partnership with Post FactoryNY, I assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer. During my tenure, I assisted with developing a 2K DI Theater specifically designed to cater to theatrical screenings. Additionally, I successfully orchestrated the relocation of the 10,000-square-foot Spring Street facility to Hudson Street, which involved significant build-out efforts. Furthermore, I oversaw the flagship facility's relocation to a standalone building in Tribeca, spanning an impressive 30,000 square feet. This new space included two floors dedicated to offline suites and one floor dedicated to finishing services. In 2014, Post FactoryNY was acquired by The SIM Group.

I effectively managed and enhanced film and television sales while spearheading the company's rebranding efforts. This involved developing a new website, revitalizing the logo, and creating marketing materials such as business cards and collateral. I shifted our focus towards providing exceptional client service while emphasizing our color grading services and Avid rentals. To expand our client base, I actively cultivated relationships with new and existing clientele through hosting events and participating in prominent industry gatherings such as RealScreen, Toronto International Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and SXSW Film Festival, among others.

I returned to Janimation via New York City. I played a crucial role in establishing and expanding their highly successful game division by leading the development of sales and marketing strategies. This involved creating and implementing effective marketing campaigns, building impressive artist demo reels, overseeing targeted email campaigns, attending industry conventions, and organizing parties and special events to promote our offerings.

I oversaw the channel marketing department, including its responsibilities, activities, and personnel. As a vital liaison between the sales team, marketing departments, and retail partners, I facilitated effective communication and collaboration. I actively contributed to developing channel marketing plans in partnership with the sales team and marketing departments. Furthermore, I provided strategic direction for T2's retail marketing endeavors in North America, guiding the overall marketing efforts aimed at retail channels.

I successfully established and oversaw the US commercial and video game divisions. Collaborating with the executive producer and artists, I coordinated projects and secured work through compelling pitches and tests. Additionally, I developed, managed, and executed annual marketing campaigns. This involved various activities such as updating the company website, creating captivating demo reels, implementing branding strategies, executing engaging email campaigns, participating in industry conventions, hosting parties, and organizing special events.

Betsey Johnson

As the manager of the Dallas location, my responsibilities encompassed sales, buying, operations, staffing, and training. Additionally, I provided oversight and guidance to Plano, Kansas City, Houston, New Orleans, and Nashville managers. I co-created and published "The Pink Lady," Betsey's monthly internal newsletter. Furthermore, I organized and produced a series of events for the south/southeast division, including more than 15 fashion shows.
