- Migrated domain-specific data from on-premise infrastructure (LAMP stack) into the cloud (99% serverless). Set up continuous data delivery utilizing data-pipelines (Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, DynamoDB, Aurora and Lambda). This enabled the team to completely take over the responsibility of its data.
- Streamed domain-specific data to the outside consumers using AWS Kinesis, Apache Kafka, and protobuf.
- Contributed to development of a core library. Its main purpose was a higher level of abstraction on top of boto3, stream processing, and a set of general purpose tools. The library was shared across departments, which improved the team’s performance in development of new micro-services and accelerated the migration process (from on premise into the cloud) of other teams in the department.
- Covered the cloud infrastructure (domain-specific) with continuous integration, error tracking, and alarms. This improved the transparency, visibility, and health of data pipelines.
- Designed an architecture for a backup and restoration of the Base Truth database.
- Utilized DynamoDB streams and Redshift/Athena to track the freshness and quality of data, as well
as the frequency of changes. Database read replica and data changelog were implemented. Data
scientists and analysts could then set up dashboards and visualise KPIs.
- In collaboration with analysts, elaborated a POC for automated accommodation type assignment for incoming data. Integrated machine learning model into the process. Achieved 87% of accuracy for incoming accommodations, while the manual process was giving only 50% accuracy.

peakwork - the player hub company

- Developing new features for the Peakwork booking platform PBAM. Part of the Business Solutions and Analytics team developing statistical representations of big amount of data.
- Constantly adding new features so the Peakwork customers could easley fulfil their bookings.
- Technologies used: TDD, PHPUnit, PHP (Symfony2 framework), Composer, MySQL, MongoDB, HTML5, JS, JQuery, CSS3, Bootstrap, Gulp

Optimizing the performance of site producing 20% more click rate. Using a custom JS utility for DOM manipulation before JQuery is loaded on the page for more optimization.
Making the site cross browser compatible including IE8.
The project was an instant success bringing the customer more revenue because of the response time and mobile optimization (Responsive web design).
The project was build using PHP (Custom implementation of xt:Commerce), MySQL, JS, JQuery, Grunt (minifying, concatenating, prefixing JS and CSS, applying the ‘above the fold’ concept.), HTML5 and CSS3.
Developing concept for implementation of FACT Finder for the shop search. This feature replaced the old search bringing more flexibility for the users.
