Inspiring Scotland is a leading venture philanthropy organisation that both invests in and supports organisations who work with the most disadvantaged people in the most vulnerable communities. Inspiring Scotland have managed up to £82m of funds since 2009 through a series of funds including 14:19, Go2Play, Link Up and Cashback for Communities. Investors include private investors, trusts and foundations, corporates and the Scottish Government.

My role is to support Inspiring Scotland to communicate strategically over 2016.

We work to help organisations to think strategically about increasing networks and engaging with investors and customers either through crowdfunding or strategic marketing; often both. We help develop funding strategies and campaign timelines for reward based and equity crowdfunds. We have developed a series of methodologies to help you with your campaign planning.  Planning is key.

We are a Branding Agency who specialise in social enterprises, charities and ethical companies.  I helped to project manage each account, oversee market research as well as develop and implement strategic marketing strategies alongside the Creative team to help with the branding and rebranding of a wide range of organisations. I was often the 'translator' between the client and the creative team - being able to unpick the problems the client had and work with the creative team to address these. We worked on some lovely campaigns for a range of clients - my favourite being Hanover Housing and the Cyrenians.
