Running a monthly night of competitions including art, music, dancing and baking. My duties include;
Liaising with artists, acts and bakers from around the region. Working with the venue and local artists to find new ways to promote the events. Working as the treasurer. Planning the running order and hosting the competitions.

Radio host, leading a weekly 2 hour radio show, sourcing suitable guests, planning features and developments within the show.

Leading a weekly, community based breakdance workshop, at the Baptist Church in the Mutley Plain area of Plymouth.

Helped with the promotion of the event by organising impromptu break dancing shows around the city centre. Liaising with the theatre, and local DJs and artists to set up shows before and after the event, and during the intervals.

Working in conjunction with the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and a local youth project to set up an international 1 on 1 break dance competition. My duties included; 
Liaising with the venue, sound engineers and DJs to ensure the optimum quality of sound was achieved. Promoting the event through radio advertising, the internet, and work with local graphic designers and printers. Ensuring smooth running of the event by meticulously planning the running order and adapting that to different challenges that arose. Dealing with the financial side of the competition, collecting entry money and giving out prize money. Organising the after party and hosting the event.

Project management for the Plymouth stop of the Breakin' Convention national tour.
Communication and liaison with a diverse range of businesses, departments and individuals to enhance the customer experience at the 2 day festival of dance theatre.

I started organizing events in order to create a forum for people who share my interests. The fulfillment I got from this gave me the drive to pursue event management as a career. I have gone on to organize a wide range of events and focus my learning on the development of the psychology behind customer interactions with events, and the experiential effects of event design.
