Hi, my name is Omar. I'm passionate about growing online businesses and have been since 2008.

But first things, first. I'm a father of two amazing daughters, loving husband, long-distance runner, an avid reader, salsa dancer, computer geek & simply fun-loving guy.

Currently, I'm a Owner of Polaris Growth, an e-commerce growth agency based in the Netherlands.

My expertise is e-commerce growth. That's a broad field to be in, so let me explain my journey in growth.

Starting from a technical background, I was building websites in the 1990's and doing e-mailmarketing from 2008 onwards. Learning about the technical infrastructure was great. 

And what about the user experience?
My passion for growth got me into Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) in 2012. Data-driven approach to optimizing systems from a front-end was a whole new world. I've learned a lot and have been actively learning & practicing.

Working as a consultant for cool brands optimizing their conversions & websites, made me look into online persuasion and behavioural psychology. Learning about the way our brain works and how we interact online opened up another world for me. I've been using these principles since 2014.

The final phase was 2017 when I was helping companies optimize for online revenue. Increasing Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) made me come back to where I started: emailmarketing.

In 2020 Polaris Growth was founded to help e-commerce brands grow their online revenue. I'm a Klaviyo expert and I love to combine everything I've learned in online funels: online persuasion, the technical side of marketing automation and increasing customer lifetime value (CLV).
