Philipp has been product manager, in-house SEO and was heading Marketing at the market-leading price comparison in Germany (Idealo.de). He specializes in the fields of accessibility, crawlability, and onpage optimization of websites with extensive inventory in highly competitive industries (eCommerce, Comparison Search Engines, Marketplaces, Classifieds & Travel).

Since 2011 Philipp Klöckner focused on search consultancy and organic growth strategies to share his experience in search (Google, Bing, Yandex, SEO / PPC), comparison shopping, and business intelligence with publishers, e-commerce companies, and start-ups as an independent consultant and angel investor. On request, he's also been consulting strategy consultants, venture capital funds, private equity firms, and boutique agencies. As a business angel, he typically writes 25-50k checks in seed rounds and helps to challenge and execute the marketing strategy.

While mainly working as an investor and consultant out of Berlin, he was also advising ventures in Russia, Poland, South East Asia, Middle-East, Latin America, India and the rest of the World.

💵 OpenAI just allocated another $𝟱𝟬 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.
With ~5,000 employees, that is an average of $10 million per person. Sam Altman is minting millionaires on a level we haven't seen since NVIDIA.

To put that number in perspective: €50 billion is the total personnel cost for all 700,000 Volkswagen employees. It is also roughly 3x the entire German Federal Education budget.

Stock options will typicall be allocated over a timeframe of 4-5 years. However, the majority of OpenAI engineers will be paid more in a year than the average automotive worker earns over his lifetime...

💰 Derzeit wird ein neuer Anlauf auf eine 𝗘𝗿𝗯𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗳𝘁𝘀𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘂𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 diskutiert. Der Grund: Milliardennachlässe zahlen im Schnitt weniger Steuern als die Mittelschicht und werden oft fast komplett verschont. Die Bewertung einer Reform sollte keine 𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲, sondern ein (relativ einfacher) 𝗜𝗤-𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 sein.

Die Gegner einer fairen und gerechten Steuer punkten regelmäßig mit Desinformation und schüren Angst vor einer "𝙢𝙚𝙝𝙧𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙪𝙚𝙧𝙪𝙣𝙜" von Einkommen.
