𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴. As an entrepreneur, I create opportunities, which is why I recently earned my first money making... cake💰🍰 Surprising, isn't it? 
 
Here's what I've learned: 
 
❓Seek advice from experienced individuals; thousands of random internet advisors cannot compare to one piece of advice from an old grandma. Similarly, having a business mentor is invaluable. 
 
💄Taste > image. A delicious taste is more important than fancy decoration. Of course, having both is ideal, but if it's not possible at the moment (for various reasons), focus on one. Likewise in business, you may have a shitty product with excellent marketing and still make money. However, if the quality isn't there, customers will use the very first opportunity to abandon you for a competitor, or... simply they would never get back to you after a first try. 
 
💯Practice makes perfect. With each attempt, you'll improve. Just accept that Rome wasn’t built in a day. 
 
📚Follow instructions, especially for complex projects. If you have money to burn (grocery ingredients aren't cheap either, especially if you do not follow the recipe and end up with a sponge cake made from 24 eggs), you may experiment, but don't expect significant results. 
Invest time in preparation. Carefully read the recipe and don't skip steps thinking, 'Oh, it can't be that complicated, I'll do it my way.' Sure, you can, and it might work out once. But later, you'll realize it was just luck, not skill. In the end, doing your homework pays off.  
 
Like the perfect cake, building a business requires patience, persistence, and a willingness to learn from mistakes.

🤳  In our modern era, the mantra of "do what makes you happy" appears to be moving society towards ultra-comfortable, low-risk lifestyles.
This glitter, comfy way of live not only fosters a fear of pain but seems to be killing the competitions vibe. 

This trend can be seen in the growing practice of awarding trophies to all participants in tournaments, rather than exclusively honouring the winners. Syombua A. Kibue once wrote about it. 

🤔 What's the underlying purpose of this trend? Is it to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and happy? Is a trophy truly required for happiness? 
Isn't a sport a practice and lessons of facing failure, respecting competitors, and nurturing a self-driven motivation to succeed next time? 

🔝 True growth often comes from not just participating, but striving, struggling, and failing. These experiences teach resilience and determination.

🛑 By handing out awards universally, we might be missing the point. Happiness and comfort are crucial, but they are not the core of sport, neither business. Neither a real life. 

💣 The reality of life is that not everyone can be the winner in every scenario, and it's crucial that we learn to deal with it and move on. 

🎼 Don't need to trust me, trust ABBA. Almost 50 years ago they already sang that The Winners Takes It All. Competition shows the importance of self-demand, of pushing ourselves to the greatness, even when external parties do not demand it of us. 

🛩 It's self- demand that can drive us to achieve greater heights, learn more deeply, and appreciate the true value of effort and perseverance.

🌪 If anyone embodies this ethos, it is those who consistently challenge themselves to grow and improve, regardless of external recognition or rewards.

Let this be a call to action: demand excellence from yourselves- not just for a trophy, but for the life-long personal growth that comes with truly testing your limits.

😳 Recently, a friend asked me an intriguing question: "What was your favourite movie when you were a kid?" Initially, I was skeptical about how a childhood movie choice could reveal something about my personality.

But upon reflection, it clearly showed that one of my all-time favourites was none other than the Rocky Balboa movie series. This  was more than just a trip down memory lane—it was a rediscovery of the values that have shaped me.

Watching Rocky as a child, I was impressed not just by the underdog story or the thrilling boxing scenes, but by the sheer emotion of it all. Who could forget the iconic scene where Rocky, bruised and battered, yells "Adrian!" with a mix of pain, relief, and victory? I remember shedding tears during that moment, completely drawn into the raw emotion Sylvester Stallone brought to the character.

The Rocky series is more than just about boxing; it's a  tribute to sportsmanship, excellence, and resilience. Rocky Balboa is a character who teaches us that greatness isn't about winning, but about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. It's about getting up one more time than you've been knocked down. This message resonates deeply in the world of sports and beyond, emphasising the importance of resilience and hard work.

Moreover, Rocky’s journey is filled with genuine relationships—from his love for Adrian to his friendship with his trainer, Mickey, and his rival-turned-friend, Apollo Creed. These relationships enrich the narrative, showing us that success is not just about individual effort but also about support, mentorship, and friendship. Who else will ask you a such a question if not a friend?!

So, yes, Rocky Balboa was more than just a movie to me as a kid—it was a window into the values I hold dear as an adult. It taught me to value persistence, cherish relationships, and always strive for excellence, no matter the odds.

Never Split the Difference. 

Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to graduate from Harvard Business School Online, where I took a course in Negotiation Mastery. It was an amazing experience and networking privilege 🤠 
 Effective negotiation has enormous impact on  both professional  and personal life.

 Recently, I deepened my passion and negotiation understanding with  book "Never Split the Difference" by Chris Voss and Tahl Raz. Forbes said that this book is ''A master of persuasion''. 
Chris Voss, a former FBI negotiator definitely is the master. This book isn't just about saving lives; it's about mastering the art of negotiation in any circumstance. 

The intriguing part for me is realising that we negotiate all the time without even knowing it. Whether it's discussing who does the dishes or navigating major business deals, negotiation skills are quietly at play.

"Never Split the Difference" teaches that it's not about compromise or capitulation, but about strategy and empathy. 

For me, understanding the subtle dynamics of human behaviour and the psychological, hidden drivers detailed in this book has been both enlightening and practical. 

If you're looking to refine your negotiating skills or simply want to understand the complexities of human interaction better, "Never Split the Difference" is a must-read. It's more than a book; it's a tool for thoughtful and effective living.

Seeing these little ones going foward under the Motion youth hub education program just encourages us to keep going for their future to be bright, from vulnerable backgrounds but with extra ordinary talents in Rugby(Nakato) on my right and football (Gadafi) on my left! It was worth getting them off streets few years ago! And we hope we can support many more others that are still suffering out here despite of their talents!

🗓️18 October, 1984, United States- Michael Jordan entered National Basketball Association (NBA) game wearing HIS shoes 
🗓️26 October, 1984, Michael Jordan signed a five-year, US$2.5 million deal with Nike, three times more than any other deal in the NBA at the time
💥1 April 1985, United States- Michael Jordan & Nike won the market releasing Jordans to public.
💸First price: $65 per pair
💰First drop: generated more than $29 million in sales in less than a month on 6 test markets: New York, Chicago, L.A., Raleigh-Durham, and Detroit 
🏦Sold: over 150 million pairs sold up to date
🤩Legendary, icon, classic, American invention- those are just a few of the titles we can name Nike Jordan 1.
🟥Legend behind: The urban legend is that the Jordans were banned, however, the Air Ship was the one banned- the very first model black & red violating the ‘51 & rule’ NBA had till early 2000s. 
⬆️That means that at least 51 % of a player shoe should be white. Jordan’s playing in ‘devil coloured’, how they were described wasn’t unnoticed. And that was the plan. Jordan was fined $5000 for each game wearing them. 
🗣️Golden marketing rule: make enemies your brand ambassadors keep talking about you, and your obstacles your success launcher. In the comment section you can see an awesome TV commercial Nike released that year.
