Operations Project Quality Engineer

• Maintain secret-level security clearance ensuring strict confidentiality of sensitive information
• Technical project lead on various production aircraft programs, responsible for leading the execution of engineering sustainment support for aircraft production
• Develop innovative but practical solutions to advanced technical problems in engineering while taking into consideration impact to schedule and production costs
• Lead project teams and coordinate activities across multi-disciplinary teams and report on progress and path forward
• Provide recommendations for production and sold-off product affected by design errors and liaison design changes

Senior Project Engineer, MQ-9 Production

• Lead QE for highest volume platform, succeeding in preventing line stoppages and minimizing accrued costs through nonconformances, in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment
• Compile and analyze monthly metrics for senior leadership including tracking defects, internal escapes, labor hours, and corrective actions for U.S. Air Force (USAF) and Army programs which has yielded a defect reduction of 29% and 88% for Integration between 2018 to 2021, respectively 
• Reduced Integration rework hours for USAF and Army programs by 17% and 87%, respectively, between 2018 and 2021
• Reduced Integration caused escapes to Flight Operations by 70% for USAF and 91% for Army programs in 2021 through improving inspection plans and achieving full containment in a timely manner
• Area CAPA Lead by supporting Corrective Action Board (CAB) and providing oversight to Integration CAPAs, ensuring full containment, root cause, and effective corrective action implementation
• Member of the Material Review Board (MRB) which entails reviewing Quality Notification (QN) documentation, approving MRB dispositions, and sending MRB QN to the customer for final approval
• Initiate and manage cross-functional teams on high-level projects that have significant cost and schedule impacts using Six Sigma practices and RCA tools

Quality Engineer, Aircraft Integration

• Managed and continuously improved the calibration program via transition into Q-Pulse program that created quality control and accountability of facility measuring and test equipment per ISO9001 standards
• Successfully led and supported several 8D Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and A3 projects that resulted in reduction of scrap, rework, and preventing line stoppages with the most cost-effective solution
• Supported MRB by ensuring proper investigations and corrective actions were executed 
• Conducted Potential Failure Mode and Effective Analysis (PFMEA) on highest volume product line to increase first pass yield and aid RCCA investigations
• Led Daily Layered Accountability cross-functional meetings that highlighted strategic planning for Quality Notifications and RCCA action items
• Supported Corrective Action Board (CAB) with presenting monthly CAB meetings and answering questions from upper management in regards to product metrics, RCCA, calibration, and open action items
