Hi! I’m Konnor 👋 I am currently the Vice President of Global Go To Market at Vectra AI. A cybersecurity company based out of Silicon Valley, CA. I’ve spent the better part of the past decade in tech sales and sales leadership roles. From seed stage start ups as employee #9, to large $10B+ publicly traded tech companies, multiple acquisitions, unicorn IPOs and everything in between. It’s been a wild ride! I’ve interviewed, hired, onboarded, and coached thousands of people across sales, marketing, customer success, and operational roles. There is a gap in the skills training provided to move from individual contributor roles into leadership! In tech it is even wider! I’ve managed and mentored hundreds of those to make the jump into their first leadership role and experienced first hand the lessons they’ve needed to learn to be successful in their new role. I went from a top performing AE to my first leadership role with little to no guidance. I was expected to “figure it out.” It was a lot of wandering in the dark. The best companies and businesses are built by great leaders, great teams, and great operators! I’ve spent years reading dozens of books, talking to successful leaders about their experience, and getting advice from some the top operators in tech, learning everything I can about leadership and team building. I feel extremely lucky to have worked close with some of the best operators of today’s generation! I share that experience here!
