Strategic SEO Executive

Stckyeyes is one of the most innovative and fastest growing SEO agencies in the UK.  It was recently awarded the prestigious prize of "Best Search Agency 2012" at the UK Search Awards. 

The objective of my role is to optimise the clients' rankings in the German and Greek speaking versions of Google (Google.de, Google.ch, Google.gr).  Duties of my role include contacting webmasters of appropriate domains, inspiring trust and building a relationship with them, exercising persuasion techniques (i.e. the importance of fresh and unique content for readers) as well as making sure that the webmaster is implementing all the desired changes.

Working as a part time link builder at Search Laboratory provided me with essential experience and helped me develop personal strategies in understanding and executing SEO campaigns.  

My duties included:
1) Researching the internet for blogs and/or forums relevant to the client's business.
2) Contacting the blog administrators.
3) Writing creative and original content in the form of guest posts.
4) Persuading the blog admins to publish the guest post.
5) Recommendations on On-Site aspects of the campaign, regarding the Greek speaking part of the client's website.
6) Keyword generation for Greek PPC campaigns.

Multilingual Researcher

My collaboration with KO was as part of my postgraduate dissertation.  I undertook the project to help the firm identify and pursue it's international marketing strategy, as the firm did not have a marketing department.  My tasks included:
1) Employment of a scientific quantitative multi-criteria method to identify the most appropriate foreign target markets to export (different market for wine and vinegar)
2) Identification of industrial buyers who are willing to buy the firm's products in each selected country and recommend course of action to approach them
3) Setting of marketing and sales targets
4) Marketing mix design
5) Recommendations on strategy feedback and control
6) Recommendations on brand internationalisation and protection

International Business Club

I was elected and worked voluntarily as the Communications Officer of the International Business Club.  My responsibilities included:
1) Creation and administration of the Club's facebook page.  I was responsible for updating this page with Press Releases for all the club's actions (competition for the logo creation, marketing research for the club's strategy etc). General administration of the club's online profile on facebook and publishing of common interest articles to keep members engaged and active.
2) Presentations and announcements on behalf of the Club in the class and during guest lectures.
3) Planning, designing and conduction of a quantitative research, for the identification of the needs and expectations of potential club members.  The research was the basis for the formulation of the Club's annual strategy and action planing.
4) Club's logo creation.  I organised a creative competition where members submitted their entries for the logo.  The club's logo was chosen after voting for the best creation during the club's weekly meeting. 
5) Responsible for legal aspects of branding.  After the club's logo was chosen I took the initiative to get in touch with the Business School Marketing Department in order to make sure that the logo is in accordance with the School's regulations and is not violating the university's guidelines for branding of special interest groups and clubs.
6) Management of the Communication team of the Club (three members) which was responsible for all the communication channels of the Club (i.e. facebook, twitter etc).  Communication strategy setting.

Esn Athens

Esn Athens is the largest Erasmus student community in Greece.  Its action is based on voluntary work and its purpose is to promote student mobility to and from Greece, help incoming students get to know Athens and adjust to their host university (Aueb).

I was elected as Webmaster of Esn Athens (later renamed to Esn Athens Aueb) and later undertook further administrative duties.  I was responsible for the communication of the organisation's activity, being the admin of Esn's profile on facebook as well as sending informative material to students per mail.  I was also consulting incoming students as to which modules they could choose as well as organising events (trips around Greece, student gatherings and parties, cultural events etc).  In addition, I had many responsibilities in the organisation's administration, such as hall bookings and assistance in organising Esn congresses at a national and international level (i.e. Esn National Board 2010, Esn AGM Athens 2009)

My job was to promote new products in super markets and kiosks in Greece (i.e. crackers and cigarettes).  

Responsibilities:
1) To create awareness for the new product
2) Convince  consumers to try the product on the spot
3) Convince them to buy the product, describing a special offer (i.e. two packets of cigarettes in the price of one, reduced price in crackers etc)
