I've talked with 14 influencer managers in the last 2 weeks. Here is what I've noticed:


There are 2 groups:
The "everything manual" group:
- They want to have control
- They cap at around 20-40 influencers or need a large team to operate even more, but definitely a ceiling

The platform group:
- They have an influencer marketing platform
- 90% of them use it for search only
- They vet a huge list but naturally a small percentage actually replies and an even smaller percentage activates
- Time spent on searching, even more on campaign management but at least it is organized

So we created the third way:
- Amy populates a super relevant list for you
- Sends personalized emails
- Negotiates
- You check and accept only the ones that have accepted your offer
- No wasted time on creator ghosting or not a fit for a partnership

Your brand shouldn't invest in influencer marketing

you might burn money trying it

Invest in influencers if you check the list:

- visual/demonstrable product (the battle for attention is hard, your product needs to be able to capture it)
- target audience active on social (obv)
- budget for 30+ creator activations/month (to succeed it is not a low budget game)
- simplified message

Do not invest if:

- complex B2B product with 6-month sales cycles
- unknown or low LTV to CAC ratio
- only testing with 10 creators

We have built a way for brands to scale creator partnerships, but ofc this channel is not the best investment for every company
