7 months in the making of AQ22 ! So what’s now? 

I am very much happy to share with you, my wonderful network, that I have co-founded my second venture AQ22 where I will be taking over the position of a COO. 

Together with David Mataciunas and our advisor Ausra Urboniene, MD, EMBA we have been develop something very exciting for businesses - AI desktop workers. 

Less admin, more action - that’s the way we look at it! 

We have joined the first batch of Plug and Play Tech Center in Lithuania, supported by Startup Lithuania ! 

I will remain the owner of Linkedist and consultant on a few projects, cannot wait to see what we can build with such a strong team but I am also excited to see where this new journey takes us all! 

As for AQ22, there is an interesting story behind the name which I hope to share in the future. We are now looking for more pilot projects, so if you know someone whom is tired of admin work, let me know!

Building in secret is fun, we pivoted a couple of times and now you see something we will stick with for the long run. 

In advance I want to thank everyone who helped or will help us along the way because every advice or “the right push” matters!

If you are an entrepreneur, then you

- can find new teammates faster 
- can ask your audience / do research
- get access to a huge network of contacts
- can find clients or see how clients find you
- it can lead to bigger investments 
- it is a way to promote your business

Seriously, the refreshing button is hot after the first time you post. 

We all have been there.

BUT! Every single first post had low engagement unless you were a well-known person. The most important thing is to keep on going. 

Consistency is really the key to the LinkedIn content game.

How do you imagine the university of the FUTURE? 🚀
I see it being Turing College!

If I think far ahead, like 2050, I imagine we will take courses in Quantum Computing, Human-Computer Interaction, Ethics in Technology, or even Interstellar Network Systems. 🤖

Yet, the year is 2024, so what can we do now?

You can up your knowledge in courses like:
- Data Analytics
- Data Engineering
- Digital marketing & analytics
- Data Science & AI
- Web Development

And I am pretty sure they are working on other topics of tomorrow. 

In the meantime, if you would like to study something again. What would it be and why? 🤔 🧠

#inOrbit24 is a place to be if you are a marketeer! 🚀
It is my first time in Slovenia, and I can already tell you that they have the warmest people and such well-planned events. And, of course, nature is so beautiful! 

As you can see in the photos, from my hand gestures, I was very glad to speak about one of my favourite things in the world - personal branding! 😎

I want to send my biggest thanks to Andraž Štalec, Nika Bratkovic, Nika Pirnar and the rest of the redOrbit team! 

Also, there were so many amazing speeches by other industry professionals about - email marketing, product design and more! Glad I could listen in. 

Great energy, good people and interesting conversations.

Beware, a new accelerator in the Swiss Alps is taking over - meet InnoQube Switzerland! This is one of the best experiences I have had over the years of educating! 🇨🇭

Hands down, this was the highest workshop I have ever done—almost 2,000m above sea level. The crowd was super engaging, curious, and driven, which made the whole experience so great. 

I was amazed at the solutions they are building in this batch, and I highly recommend getting to know these startups! They are onto something 😎

Huge thanks to Patrick Blumenthal and Alexander Fries for inviting me to teach! It was a pleasure. 

And of course, I know that Switzerland is known for the best chocolate in the world, yet I wanted to bring a piece of PERGALĖ chocolate from Lithuania to get their expert opinion... they said it was great! 😄

90% of the time, startup life is not glamorous. 
Right now, we are working on finalizing our first pilot projects with AQ22. 

I am very excited to create and build, but most importantly, make other people work more simply and save companies resources. 

At the end of the day, it is about the value you bring to others with your business. 

Half a year ago, the idea we were working on was different. 
We pivoted. 
Quick. 

When we were building then, it was more about our experience and looking at everything from the end-user side. How could we make it a better experience for the user? 

What was our mistake? We didn't do enough interviews with the buying party and how big of a pain point it was to them. We just knew it would generate more money if we got to implement our idea. 

Fast forward to today - we are building after talking with many decision-makers and taking a totally different approach - we are solving their biggest pains!

So I am excited to share with you some more information pretty soon!

Unpopular opinion: 

First, hire marketing, then sales. 

So let me explain. I want to start out by saying that I believe in the holy matrimony of the two - if you want market success, you have to combine the two. 🚀

Yet, I also think that some companies rush to hire salespeople without fixing the messaging of their products/services. So what happens?

When salespeople go out and sell, they have poorly designed decks and messaging that lack a purpose or do not speak to the target audience.

This can lead to mixed feelings and bad first-time impressions from the prospects side. ❌

Sometimes, clients come to Linkedist and want to run LinkedIn ads with 5 followers and no content on their account. Just stop - we tell them. That would not be money well spent because there is no initial traction. 

So, the strategy that can work for some is:
- hire a marketing person 
- set up your tone of voice
- setup your messaging and your vision 
- prepare all the materials to give that "I am the next big thing" feeling
- hire a sales team
- prep them with shiny materials and let them go on an adventure
- meet them at pitstops to get feedback and iterate with the marketing pro.

REPEAT. 

At the end of the day, I believe both tracks (marketing and sales) can be started simultaneously, too. That is even better!

This is also why we have such strong partners like GrowTech, with whom Linkedist works on the same KPIs for clients.

YET is the word I want to emphasize. 

When I hear people talk about AI technology, I often hear a sentence that is always structured in this manner:

" AI can do xyz, but it cannot do that ..." 

And I have to really stop myself from saying the word yet. 

What is not happening at the moment might be happening in the near future (the next 6 months). Just look at Midjourney. It is such a great example of where we went

from: oh, look, he has 7 fingers! lol!
to: oh, wow. What a realistic photo... can't tell the difference. 

Technology is developing fast—the fastest it has ever developed. So, when contemplating future scenarios, it is important to think about what could happen and then think even further. 

With AQ22 we are building LAM - Large Action Models, which will help people deal with their admin tasks. Technology is still in the research phase, and a few companies are starting to build it, one of them being us. This is exciting because we are entering this very populated space with a different approach. 

The way our models will work will be different than already existing ones. 

So what is cool today might be even cooler tomorrow. 
Or what is cool today might be outdated tomorrow. 

Keep it in mind and think three steps ahead.

The tech space is still not very balanced. ❌ Many women want to join the tech space but are afraid of the lingo, not being good enough, or other factors.

I hope that with AQ22, we can help people do more of "the fun stuff" and less of admin tasks. 

That's the goal!

If you want to understand AI, you need to dig deeper than only discussing GenAI.

Yesterday we had a lecture by Tom Rice who explained us why it is crucial to have one.

🏖️ Beachhead strategy - a market entry strategy that captures a small target market segment to establish a strong base before expanding onto the whole market.

Think about the following:

do those customers have money and a reason to spend it?

can your reach them and continue to iterate the development of your solution?

what possibilities does it opens up in future markets, and does it alignment with your passion and values?

For now, with AQ22 , we are figuring out what’s the best way to go forward and dipling our toes into a lot of different places. Eventually the plan is to niche down. 🤝

LinkedIn is experimenting with a TikTok-like video feed in its app. Let's see if it will become a reality. 

While other platforms capture our engagement with fun and quick videos, LinkedIn is behind this feature. 

However, will it be the same content then? Or will it be only work-related? I highly doubt it. However, it would be lovely to see behind-the-scenes content from the people we follow here.
