I went all the way back to 1996, when I learned data warehousing from Ralph Kimball himself. That 3-day training fundamentally changed how I think about data and it still shapes the way I look at solutions today in Snowflake and my work at DataOps.live.

Even with cloud-native platforms, AI, and everything else we’ve added since the 90s… the logical part of dimensional modeling has stood strong.
