In my current role as the Business & Financial Controller at Fugro Geotech India Pvt Ltd , I have been instrumental in partnering with business heads to ensure robust financial performance, conducting thorough reviews of P&L statements, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal controls. Additionally, I have played a key role in budgeting exercises, variance analysis, project profitability reviews , receivables / payables reviews , statutory audits , contributing to the overall success of the organization. I have 27 years plus of rich business finance & controllership experience working in FMCG , Retail , Engineering Services , Electronics and Electrical industries , in large and complex international ( Oman - 7.5 years , Saudi Arabia - 2.5 years & Iraq ) as well as national environment in leadership finance positions in MNC / Indian companies. I have handled all aspects of financial planning and management reporting leadership roles as well as credit control , internal controls , budgeting and forecasting , accounts payable & receivable , internal audit and statutory audits , financial planning & analysis, GST, SOX & Internal controls, inventory management , supply chain finance , treasury , etc. I have strong business and commercial acumen and have been doing the commercial finance analysis since last 20 years. I was the regional financial controller for Philips Lighting division for Eastern Region handling business profitability of 370 channel partners. I have complete sales knowledge of distribution model of FMCG business. I also had the opportunity to be a part member of the core functional team in implementing SAP in Siemens projects division and Philips lighting division, along with my core finance activities. I also had the opportunity to be a member of the core functional team in implementing VAT in Suhail Bahwan Automobiles LLC in Oman. I was also the core team member and part of the think tank in visualising and the creating the the new shared services centre in Hyderabad for all AR , AP , GL , MIS reporting and Fixed Assets financial operations for Suhail Bahwan Automotive group for Oman , Saudi Arabia , Iraq and United Arab Emirates entities. I have also managed a team size of maximum 18 to minimum 7 persons in my various finance assignments of various nationalities, including my current role. I was also the project manager for implementing Distribution Management System in Philips retailers / distributors across the country.
