Flō Career and Executive Coaching was created out of a deep sense of passion and purpose. A passion for creating my own successful, fulfilling, and resilient career. A deep sense of purpose for helping others do the same by coaching, guiding, and mentoring clients into career success.

As a team-building facilitator, I coached, guided, mentored, and led participants through multifaceted challenges in outdoor environments. Witnessing the positive changes in the growth of both individuals and teams from the coaching and facilitating was inspiring! At Gexpro, I continued developing and expanding my sales experience to build strong partnering relationships with clients quickly. I accomplished this while managing multiple, ongoing opportunities to support a successful sales process by actively listening, exploring, and identifying prospect concerns. HOWEVER, I kept returning to my passion for coaching, guiding, and mentoring those around me while in this job. I found more satisfaction in coaching my peers with their career development and growth, helping them find more fulfillment and success in their day-to-day jobs than in my actual sales duties!

After spending 25 years in various leadership roles within the Ski Industry, I made a significant career transition to an outside sales job in a completely new industry. Leveraging my skills and knowledge from my previous career path, I successfully landed an outside sales position that usually takes most people years in the industry to achieve. I accomplished this by learning the ins and outs of doing a successful job search in today's world. Utilizing networking techniques, interviewing tactics, resume writing skills, and general job search techniques.

At QED, I was responsible for complex sales with key accounts assigned to me. The sales process involved leveraging the communication and leadership skills I had acquired to coach and guide customers through successful purchasing contracts and after-sales support.

Fifteen years with Vail Resorts set me up to continue following my passion for servant leadership in the ski industry. I fell in love with coaching, guiding, leading, and mentoring the amazing people who worked for me and with me during this time. This period in my career allowed me to polish my coaching and leadership skills, culminating in creating a high-performance teamwork culture that achieved desired organizational results through a 110 person team.

Noteworthy accomplishments:

☑️  Coached team leaders (direct reports) to develop further and hone their coaching and leadership skills needed to lead their direct reports successfully. This increased many metrics, such as customer satisfaction scores being consistently the highest in the company location.
