Starting out as a freelance content strategist and writer, niching down into Shopify apps because my love for Shopify and ecommerce tech was prominent. This grew to be so successful I needed to build a team and Kollectify the agency was born.

The internet's carbon footprint is huge. In part due to unnecessary use of content, images, fonts, colours and code. As an ecommerce business, you can help to reduce this.

Heading up marketing and business development, I ideate new ideas to attract, engage and convert Shopify app teams so that we can help them be more visible to Shopify merchants who need their specific solution to a problem. 

I am proud to have built our processes, systems and frameworks that have successfully lead to the growth of many Shopify app teams at the same time as ensuring everything they do is not a waste of time, money or emissions. I have built a team of incredible freelancers who are very loyal to us and follow my marketing frameworks.

Kollectify was inspired by my 3 passions: ecommerce, sustainability, and great marketing.
I first saw the Shopify platform ‘s potential in 2015 when I created a marketplace for local merchants.

Many of the brands on the marketplace and the technical solutions in the Shopify ecosystem lacked good marketing, so I decided to help by offering my expertise - helping apps to be more visible to merchants, and helping merchants to find solutions and grow their business.

The results were great, and more people joined the Kollectify family.

Embedding sustainability into your business often feels overwhelming, expensive, or both. We’re here to break those barriers by providing access to educational resources and inspiring ecommerce businesses who want to take action to make ecommerce part of the solution!

Having recognised the environmental impact of ecommerce, I worked with a team of sustainability consultants to develop a sustainability framework for ecommerce merchants, service providers and tech to reduce their environmental impact. MindfulCommerce was an online community of over 400 ecommerce merchants and solution providers - with the aim to connect brands with different solutions to help them reduce their carbon footprint. 

We ran online events, created many many resources to help sustainability feel less overwhelming (visit our education hub here: https://mindfulcommerce.io/education-hub and have a read)

Our website also features two directories: one for sustainable ecommerce brands and one for service providers and tech who are helping merchants to reduce their carbon footprint.
