I specialize in working with adults (18+), both individuals and couples, to address a wide range of concerns, pertaining to self-esteem, social and relational challenges, caregiving, anxiety, depression, intimacy, trauma, grief, workplace difficulties, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where clients can express themselves freely and gain deep insights into their needs and personal growth.

I provide therapeutic care using evidence-based methodologies, offering creative and tailored approaches based on individual and couple interests, strengths, and needs.

Counselling Therapist

Alzheimer Society of PEI

My colleagues and I are currently developing a formal counselling therapy program for caregivers (family members and friends) of people living with dementia. This program will help participants increase feelings of resilience, enabling them to support not only the person living with dementia, but themselves as well, in a healthier way, more sustainable way. 

Once the program is developed, I will be holding counselling therapy sessions for caregivers across Prince Edward Island, both in-person and virtually.

Insight Brand & Marketing Studio

Managed 25+ social media accounts for various clients; this included speaking in their brand voice while creating and implementing content, responding to comments/inquiries of their business, monitoring all accounts and creating social media reports. Created, pitched and implemented marketing strategies and campaigns. Wrote website copy and blogs. Interviewed, coached and trained interns while offering feedback on completed work, supplying them with tasks and monitoring their efficiency.

Created social media content to promote library programs while engaging with followers, including answering questions and comments. Created internal newsletters and bi-weekly eNewsletters. Assisted with copy editing of quarterly print newsletter and coordination of unaddressed mail campaign.

JUMP! Foundation

Spent 3 weeks in Malaysia facilitating experiential education activities for grade 6 students. Spearheaded the organization's first policies and procedures manual. Created social media content.

Held kindergarten and elementary classes of up to 12 students. Prepared monthly newsletters and syllabuses, daily lessons, and wrote progress reports. Presented class and school information to parents, as well as held open classes.

In addition to working as a Counselling Therapist at Sarah Carr Psychological Services, I am collaborating with my colleagues at the Alzheimer Society of PEI to develop a counselling therapy program for caregivers (family members and friends) of people living with dementia. Once the program is developed, I will be conducting therapy sessions for caregivers.

I’ve had the opportunity to work in various geographical and cultural settings across Canada and Asia, often stepping out of my comfort zone. These experiences have enhanced my adaptability and resourcefulness, as I sought new ways to learn, grow, and implement unique ideas.

I strive to incorporate my creativity and passion for wellness, problem-solving, and adventure into my professional life. I've learned that it’s possible to have multiple passions and create your dream career.
