● Communicated, facilitated, and implemented the long-term and short-term goals, tailored presentations and trainings for individuals, and collaborated with a team.

Instructional Coach at Elementary and Middle School Level (PK-8th grade)

Classroom teacher that incorporated long and short-term goals and instructional activities/approaches to an average of 36 students in each class period.
● Provided a range of instructional and assessment strategies to meet the different needs of students.
        o Instructional Strategy: Pre- conferencing with employees on how to model a specific math problem for an English Language Learner student, watching the teacher teach the lesson, and post-conference with the teacher to observe student impact based on student work product.
     o Assessment Strategy: Conferenced with teachers to align unit assessments with the Louisiana State Standards to ensure the tests were accurately assessing the students’ level towards mastery of the standards.
● Provided flexibility and problem-solving skills when planning individually.
● Identified the needs of students based on student performance on daily assignments and assessments
● Created, revised, administered, and graded assessments.
● Collected and analyzed data to make informed decisions.
● Collaborated with colleagues across content areas and grade levels.
● Attended and actively participated in all meetings including, but not limited to, Professional Learning Communities, grade level meetings, and Professional Development sessions.
● Conducted conferences as needed, as well as ongoing communication of progress throughout the year.

Classroom Teacher: Grades 4-8 in ELA, Social Studies, and Science

Provided school leaders and district-wide teachers professional development/training to positively impact teacher content knowledge and activities/approaches to achieve changes in the industry.
● Directed and collaborated with district school support coordinators, SchoolKit coach, and the Director of Teacher Development.
● Provided follow-up support to colleagues in their cohort via email and Google Interface; communicated any identified assistance to field coordinators.
● Delivered district-wide professional learning to cohorts of teachers and individual school leaders.
● Attended Content Leader Fellow (CLF) specific professional learning with partners at SchoolKit and Frog Street (PK).

Content Leader Facilitator (3-8th grade English-Language Arts)

I’m an experienced educational leader and teacher with 7+ years of instructional experience and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, K-12. I will complete my Doctoral Degree in May 2024. As an educator, I’ve provided professional development to district teachers and leaders as a content specialist and supported preschool-8th grade teachers in all subject areas, while also creating long-range plans that incorporate educational best practices. Thus far in my educational career, I have displayed actions of self-motivation, effective communication skills, and have proven to be flexible to different situations that are presented. I understand curriculum and school needs and am able to problem-solve with practical solutions.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and traveling.
I am currently seeking remote work in the field of education.
