My goal is to nurture a learning culture in a global high-tech firm.  I started by conducting a needs analysis.  Every employee was interviewed, from founders to newly-hired employees.  The needs analysis resulted with a findings report and an FY18/19 L&D strategy.  

The focus of my work:
•	Partnering with sales management to create and formalize a sales certification program.  
•	Building awareness on learning and development and monitoring metrics for quarterly L&D goals (Change agent).
•	Providing 1:1 coaching for leaders and individual contributors (becoming "unstuck", overcoming obstacles, development goals, career planning)
•	Leading a team in the analysis and design of a new global onboarding program.
•	Establishing and leading the IV (Impactful Volunteering) team for the Pittsburgh office with the goal of focusing volunteer efforts of E4A employees. 
•	Designing and/or facilitating a variety of instructor-led and virtual trainings on topics such as 
        motivating others, understanding generational differences, active listening, developing your 
        people).
•	Selecting leadership assessments for existing and potential managers.
•	Managing vendor relationships and curating training for teams and individuals.
•	Creating and facilitating team building activities, incorporating StrengthsFinder.

Manager, Learning and Organizational Development

Westinghouse Electric Company

I was the lead architect and program manager of Transition to Management (T2M).  This program was a multi-month cohort-based leadership program for new managers.  A blended approach was used and it incorporated online learning, classroom and virtual sessions, assignments, peer coaching, and leadership assessments with feedback.  The program resulted in new and soon-to-be managers better prepared to lead teams.

In 2014, my focus expanded to support the sites throughout the organization.  For example, I led the analysis, research, design, and development of a new-hire onboarding program.  The onboarding began the moment a new hire said “Yes!” and continued through the first six months of employment with Westinghouse.  The ultimate goal of this program was to ensure new hires were just as excited six months down the road as they were on Day 1.  There were business goals with this program:  mainly to increase the new hires’ speed to productivity.  I also facilitated the orientation program at our headquarters facility.

Following the success of the Onboarding program, I was tasked with leading the professional development team to evaluate third-party training.  Once evaluation was completed, the team successfully scheduled, coordinated, and facilitated these workshops.  I was also responsible for marketing the courses to the appropriate population.  

Because of my expertise in curriculum/solution design, I also assisted the Design Services team in designing solutions that are innovative.

Senior Talent and Development Consultant

Early in my career at Westinghouse, I tackled a variety of needs in the realm of learning and development.   

In 2009, I was asked to participate on the Westinghouse Learning Council in the design of a corporate university resulting in less redundancy, greater consistency, and establishing standards across all business units.  Once the corporate university was formed, I was then asked to be the lead consultant for one of the newly formed Colleges in Westinghouse University.  This challenging assignment involved leading the dean, associate deans, and department leads on creating a vision, identifying top priorities, and establishing a budget.  As the dean of the college told the VP of Quality, “Kristina is the one who really got us up and running!  She’s the one responsible for the progress we’ve made so far.”  

From 2010 to 2012, I supported a business group of 1000+ employees.  This assignment involved coaching leaders (at all levels) on interpreting assessment feedback, creating action plans, review engagement survey results and driving the assigned team to create a consistent action plan using a top-down approach.  I also guided VPs and Directors on closing specific performance gaps.  As the consultant supporting this group, it was not unusual for me to be managing numerous projects (by numerous, I mean more than 25).

In 2012, I was asked to be part of a peer review team.  I led the review and assessment of current learning and development practices at one of Westinghouse’s European fuels sites, and presented recommendations to the plant leadership team.

Candidates in the Greenbelt for Improvement (GBI) program were taking too long to complete the program and gain certification.  Management asked me to lead the analysis and redesign of the program.  The new program incorporated greater accountability, improved selection of candidates, involvement of mentors, and consequences for not meeting milestones.  This resulted in increased skill application.

Sr. Learning and Development Consultant / Lead Consultant

Responsible for providing consulting in the areas of leadership skills, performance management, customer service, employee retention, and interviewing skills.

Managed numerous project simultaneously while successfully achieving project objectives (exceeding client expectations, meeting timelines and milestones, staying on budget) and business results.

Awarded VIP Consulting Award.

Performance Improvement Consultant

Responsible for providing leadership on analysis, design, and development, managing projects, and consulting in the areas of leadership, customer service, and interaction skills.

Selected by senior management to serve on reengineering task force and pilot team and served as principal liaison with core technology group regarding standards and best practices

Managed training projects for a number of Fortune 500 organizations resulting in improved management skills, greater communication, and increased efficiency and productivity.

Consulting Associate

A talent development professional with demonstrated experience in coaching, leadership development, needs assessments, performance gap analysis, instructional design, performance management, and facilitation.
