I wear 2 hats: product and growth. 

On the product side, I build the products, infrastructure and processes that help us deliver a 10-star experience (incl. UX/UI, Sales CRM system, onboarding flow, CMS and learning loops). 

On the growth side, I own the sales & marketing assets (incl. Branding kit, landing page, copy, sales decks, email sequences and templates) and identify new initiatives to drive self-sustained growth. 

Biggest wins: 
+ Launched 3 program iterations in just 6 months, with an average cohort-on-cohort user growth of 29% and revenue growth of 53% with no marketing spend 
+ Designed and built a scalable learning management system and onboarding experience using no-code

I designed, built and launched Ohana: an e-commerce enablement platform that helps DTC brands drive sustainable growth through brand-to-brand partnerships. 

+ Product: led customer research, developed product strategy & iterated/refined our target segments and value proposition. Led cross-functional team (design & engineering) to launch first working product 
+ Growth/GTM: conducted market analysis and segmentation, developed and iterated on value propositions and positioning, and experimented with pricing models, distribution channels and marketing/sales strategies - making ongoing improvements from data & feedback
+ Company building: built financial model from scratch, managed full P&L, led investor relationships and built founding team

+ Launched functioning non-native Shopify app in <21 days
+ Acquired and fully onboarded 14 DTC brands in the first month (with another +25 in the pipeline)

I redesigned and led the talent acquisition function for Polymath Ventures and its portfolio of human-centred startups in Latin America. 

+ Partnered with leadership teams to set talent roadmap, align resources to strategic priorities and sort through cross-functional dependencies

+ Built dashboards to track core metrics and identified and addressed bottlenecks and inefficiencies

Lead Business Designer - VP Talent Acquisition | Polymath Ventures

I helped transition the venture from an e-commerce to a marketplace model and incubated its supply/vendor management function from scratch. 

+ Owned product portfolio performance (with over 1,000SKUs), and turned data into actionable insights that informed platform development, vendor experience and go-to-market strategy
+ Identified target vendor needs through customer research and data analysis and drove audience strategy, value proposition and key messaging
+ Partner with multiple stakeholders across the company (Customer Success, Operations, Marketing, Design & Tech) to ensure priority alignment and project deployment 
+ Built and led end-to-end sales funnel & sales materials (incl. Sales deck, platform demo, CRM) for marketplace vendors

+ Acquired 10 beauty and wellness brands within the first month of functioning MVP - representing 11% of total monthly revenue by June 2019

Senior Business Designer - VP of Business Development | Elenas

Polymath Ventures partnered with Krealo (BCP's Corporate Venture Capital arm) to co-design a new fintech that would empower Colombians to better invest and manage their savings.  

+ Co-led the user research workstream: designed interview kits & rapid prototypes and conducted in-depth research using human-centred design methodologies
+Co-led ideation workshop with a wide range of stakeholders across Polymath Ventures, Krealo and BCP 
+ Led user persona development and product positioning
+ Built financial models for future revenue & operations forecasting

E.ON

Future Lab acts as E.ON's discovery and testing lab - incubating and co-creating the next generation of digital technology solutions and intellectual property to unlock new value flows for E.ON and the broader renewable energy sector. 

+ Led discovery for new initiatives, including testing key hypotheses through user research 
+ Evaluated customer insights, business strategy, market dynamics and emerging technology trends to generate disruptive value propositions that align with both, users' and business needs 
+ Managed relationships with critical stakeholders across the organization (at all levels) to ensure cross-functional alignment

Venture Manager

Imagination

Imagination is a global creative communication agency that uses a blend of physical and digital to enhance customers' experiences. As a Project & Client Relations Manager within the Investor Communications team, I led high-profile global financial roadshows end-to-end - including the largest U.S. IPO in history (2014). 

+ Acted as central point of connection between client teams and internal functions - including marketing/communications, event production, travel, logistics/operations and finance (across multiple timezones) 
+ Held project P&L responsibility (mostly, over US$100K) with associated financial accountability - from forecast/proposal to billing and cash collection 
+ Led on-the-ground roadshow execution and crisis management, traveling alongside the client team during 2-3 weeks at a time

Business Developer and Project Manager

I started as a trainee (1 year program), and promoted to analyst and then manager. During this time, I was based in Switzerland and, later, the UK - with frequent travels to Cuba. 

+ Structured, negotiated and executed third-party debt financing agreements for large-scale growth and expansion projects in metal, energy and soft commodity industries, of up to €75M per transaction + Applied storytelling and influence to build trust-based relationships with key clients and stakeholders (incl. global traders, bankers, government officials and insurance brokers) and get project buy-in + Managed and optimised credit and political risk exposure to Cuba; growing insurance capacity by 125% to €79M in 3 years

Structured Commodity Finance Manager

+ Synthesised complex financial concepts into comprehensive product sales & marketing material to support regional client advisors' sales efforts to HNWI 
+ Collaborated across functions on pricing and positioning of non-traditional asset classes for HNWI (incl. VC/private equity, commodities, hedge funds/funds-of-funds and real estate) 

I took my interest in 'non-traditional' investments a step further, writing my University thesis on the impact of these investments on a person's portfolio, in collaboration with UBS.
