I'm a seasoned communications & social media manager with more than 15 years’ experience as a published writer and 8+ years’ experience in content creation and strategic communications. I love telling stories that galvanize employees and consumers around a company's mission, vision, culture and values in a meaningful way. What's my story, you ask? An immigrant, I grew up surrounded by people with a deep commitment to social justice and curiosity about the world around them. It turned me into a dedicated news junkie with a passion for (you guessed it!) telling good stories. If you look closely, you'll see the tie that binds my entire career: social science, a commitment to belonging and justice, and real, human storytelling. As an experienced newswriter, communications strategist, and executive advisor, I *love* fast-paced, highly collaborative, cross-functional environments. I've got an armful of skills but I'm also a life-long learner, always looking for new ways to frame things. I've worked in Big tech, financial services, market research, health & fitness, healthcare, sports, and entertainment. My bachelor's degree is in journalism, and I have a master's degree in sociology with an emphasis on social stratification and portrayals of Blackness in the media.
