Oct 2018 - April 2019 - Programme Lead and Scrum Master at a Tier 1 Global Investment Bank in London. Delivered a new digital transformation solution (Big Data) from early planning to execution for a global Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) - a major client of the bank. Successfully transitioned the program from Waterfall to Agile Scrum framework and Agile at Scale / Nexus / Scrum of Scrums.

Senior Manager - Financial Services Advisory | Programme Management

Travelled around the world for 12 months to 16 countries in Asia, Australiasia, Latin America and North America while working online. Learning Spanish to conversational level, working as a digital nomad / remote entrepreneur on various projects, Drop Shipping (online virtual stores), cryptocurrency trading/investing, established a UK property development company. Worked in some of the world's innovative co-working offices including Dojo and HuBUD in Bali, Ko Hub in Thailand, Urban Station in Buenos Aires and WeWork Medellin. Expanded my horizons and gained huge amount of knowledge outside of the corporate environment.

FAB is the largest bank in the MENA region with offices in 21 countries globally. As part of the Enterprise Projects Office (EPO) I managed multiple high priority business, strategic and technology projects working with diverse stakeholders from across the bank, external vendors and regulatory bodies to deliver change and transformation. Specialised in Regulatory and Anti Financial Crime projects (FATCA, CRS, AEoI, Sanctions, AML, Fraud) as well as Global Markets and Market Risk (Equities, FX, e-Trading / e-Commerce, Murex, xVA / CVA).

Created, directed and project managed 3 limited companies simultaneously gaining valuable skills:
1) Promoveo Partners Asia Ltd: Joint-venture executive search consultancy focusing on senior buy-side appointments in Asia-Pacific. Senior searches from Senior VP level to Partner and CxO for Private Equity firms, Hedge Funds, Wealth Managers and Global Investment Banks. Partner continues trading: www.promoveo.co.uk
2) Vivacity Search Ltd: Independent executive search & selection for Programme & Project Managers in Banking, Financial Services and Management Consulting across Europe. Gained 11 clients including several of my previous employers below. Sold database to a competitor firm.
3) Recruitment Technologie Ltd: CVBlast.co.uk and CVSpider.co.uk were innovative job search tools for the UK market based on US sites licensed via a joint-venture agreement. Managed offshore developers/testers to enhance, localise functionality and create a new eCommerce engine. Managed sales and marketing campaign (Google AdWords / PPC / SEO, email marketing, JVs). After several months of growth the Partner business was acquired by a larger US competitor firm. This was a fantastic learning experience in building a profitable internet business utilising my Project Management and eCommerce skills outside of a traditional corporate environment.

Acting as an Independent contractor and consultant to CIBC World Markets, the investment banking division of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.  Project Management of the electronic trading initiative within Global Derivatives and Strategic Risk, migrating all asset classes (Equities, FX, Commodities, Bonds) on to an innovative proprietary platform for derivatives trading globally.  Managing change and resources across front, middle and back office in global locations.  Close interaction with Programme Management and front office business users such as Quantative Analysts and Traders.  Chairing and driving several daily global conference calls and meetings to align business requirements and priorities with the multiple project work streams and the wider business. Declined an extension to my 6 month contract to focus on businesses above.
