No tax for cloud companies till 2047 in India.

India's Budget 2026 includes a major policy shift: foreign companies using Indian data centres to serve global clients will pay zero tax until 2047.

Domestic Indian customers must still be served through a local (taxable) reseller.

Massive infrastructure projects already planned by Google ($15B), Microsoft, and Amazon.

When I was at Civo, we invested 200 crores to build out local capacity. It was a learning experience to navigate the early stages of this growth. Seeing the government now provide 20 years of tax certainty is a huge step forward for the industry.

India is clearly moving from being a software hub to becoming the physical engine for global AI and cloud data.

Okay here’s a cool open source project. If you’re building AI agents in TypeScript, you probably know the exact moment your serverless function just... dies.

The problem is most serverless setups have a 30-second execution limit, which is a total disaster for LLM chains or agents that need minutes to browse the web or process data. When that timeout hits, your function crashes, and you’re left with a mess of half-finished tasks. Usually, the only way to fix it is to waste a bunch of time building a custom queue and retry system from scratch.

Instead of doing all that, you should check out Trigger.dev. It’s handles that background heavy lifting for you. It manages the queues, retries, and scaling automatically. It also fits right into your existing Node.js setup, supports Python, and even lets you stream LLM responses back to your frontend in real-time.

What do you prefer: long tutorials or short form videos?

I’ve spent a lot of time crafting long-form, hands-on tutorials, some of which have hit over 500k views, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that people are tired of "Hello World" demos. They want the raw, messy reality of building.

I recently came across a session from Jay M. from Aiven, Abigail Mesrenyame Dogbe, and Andres Pineda that actually does this right. It’s a 2-hour deep dive where they build a full CFP (Call for Proposals) platform from scratch using Django and PostgreSQL.

They walk through the whole process, from setting up user roles to CI/CD and deployment, while being honest about the trade-offs you have to make when you're trying to ship on a deadline.
