I am an ordinary immigrant like you, came as an international student with big dreams to pursue engineering. When I decided to come to Canada, I wasn't sure about the outcome or if I would succeed. I landed a part-time job within a month of arriving in Canada. However, balancing studies, assignments, a part-time job, and daily household chores was incredibly challenging. Despite the difficulties, I managed to complete my two-year college program, secure a job as an Electrical Technologist, and obtain permanent residency (PR). it might seem like I've achieved success. However, I'm driven to pursue something unique and impactful, especially for fellow immigrants. Finance happens to be one of my strengths, yet I've noticed how challenging it can be for newcomers to grasp a completely unfamiliar financial system in a new country. So, I started Creating content on personal finance with a special focus on immigrants. Through engaging and entertaining content on Instagram and YouTube, I've cultivated a community of over 6K people, and my personal finance content on Instagram has garnered a whopping 500K+ views in just 30 days. I am on a mission to educate and empower individuals to conquer their financial goals. ➡️Beyond Content Creation; I'm a dynamic Electrical Technologist, specializing in crafting electrical design packages using Autocad and Revit. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code book, I bring sparks to projects involving lighting, power, and system design. My expertise extends to single-line diagrams, load calculations, and voltage drop calculations, ensuring that every aspect is powered up to perfection. ➡️ Professional Progress: I hold a technological graduate in training (TGIT) designation from NBSCETT. I am currently in the process of obtaining an EIT license. My application is under review, and I am required to pass two exams according to the NB Engineering Board (APEGNB). I have completed the NCESS fundamental exam, and I am scheduled to take the second exam in mid-2024. ➡️ Education: A proud 2021 graduate from NBCC (New Brunswick Community College) with a Diploma of Education in Electrical Engineering Technology.
