Multifaceted role which involved products and software solutions sales. Earlier part of my tenure involves sales of products like #shippalm( a maritime solution) and #q-aud (audit and inspection solution). Later changed role and got actively involved in Software solution selling across Middle East and European regions. Managed an enthusiastic sales team to drive sales for the organisation in the designated territory and achieve organisational sales goals. Was involved in end-to-end sales process which involved initial sales pitch to customers, proposal prep, presentation to sales closure. Also attended annual tech events like #mwc, #websummit, #gitex to promote the services offered by the organisation. My 7+ year tenure helped me understand and learn the art of solution selling and at the same time enhance my product selling acumen in new areas.

Shipmate is one among the world’s leading Ship ERP software companies that provides Ship Owners, Ship Managers (main fleet, offshore and tugs), Crewing and Manning Agents (main fleet, shipyards) with tools to manage Crewing, Payroll, Crew Scheduling, Compliance Verifications, Vessel Maintenance and the Stores Management process. I was responsible for end-to-end sales process, and account management for the organisation. The job involved F2F demo of  software to the international audience in EU, ME and APAC, attending exhibitions for promoting the software(#smmhamburg, #seaasia, #europort) preparing proposals, negotiations and sales closure. I was also responsible for the account management of my customers making sure they are well attended to and serviced as promised during the sales process. I joined Shipmate as an Sr. Executive handling the account management of few key customers. When I signed off after a strong and successful 10 year tenure, I was handling the entire sales portfolio for the organisation with a team helping out on the account management, business development and sales activities.
