I was tinkering with tools on papa’s farm as soon as I could walk. The farm always had a barn, a tractor, or a fence just waiting to be fixed. Working on the farm ignited a curiosity in me that longed for a deeper understanding of the physical world, which led to my pursuit in mechanical engineering. My curiosity has only increased with time. I started my career in a classical mechanical engineering role where I used the principles of psychometrics, designed electrical control panels, and created SolidWorks drawings. I found myself in a small, yet great, company that was growing fast. The company's growth allowed me the opportunity to branch off and start new departments. The first department I started was the R&D Department followed by the Technical Support Department. I have since moved on to being the team lead for both the Production and Supply Chain Teams that consist of ~20 great employees. And now, I am leading a Demand Gen based marketing team. As my career has progressed, I have found a passion for the business side of technology companies. Analyzing and managing the efficiencies of production and supply chain has led to perpetual learning for constant improvement. This passion is what led me to pursuing an MBA at The University of Florida, where I hope to gain a deeper understanding of business management. I was the 4th employee hired at the start-up, MAS, which has since branched off into two companies that total over $70MM in Revenue.
