I don't really consider myself a sales person or an Account Executive as my title says. But I want to. ๐๐๐๐ฉ ๐ ๐๐ค: In the simplest of terms, I find trucks for my customers freight. In reality, it isn't that easy. It is working hand-in-hand with the customer, shippers, receivers, truck dispatchers and drivers, and whoever else might be involved with the shipping process. That includes making sure BOLs are filled out, addresses are correct, scheduling appointments, finding carriers, making sure the carrier will be where they need to be when they need to be there, handling truck breakdowns, backed-up sheds, cancelled loads, communication, load tracking, and more. ๐๐ช๐ง ๐พ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐๐๐จ: ๐ Full Truckload, Less-than-Truckload, Partials, OSOW, Drop Trailer ๐ Intermodal (Rail, Ocean, Air) ๐ Drayage โ๏ธ International ๐ผ ๐๐๐ฌ ๐๐ ๐๐ก๐ก๐จ: โญ๏ธ Strategic Planning โญ๏ธ Leadership โญ๏ธ Logistics โญ๏ธ Management โญ๏ธ Operations โญ๏ธ Sales To me, logistics isn't simply finding trucks for my customers. It's creating partnerships with customers, carriers, customer's customers, and more. It's about believing in my customer and treating their company as if it were my own.
