Career Info: I am a cybersecurity educator and leader with over 12 years of experience in developing, managing, and maintaining the security of information systems. I hold the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential and has a working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the security publications of NIST, which I use to ensure systems compliance with FISMA regulations. As a LinkedIn Learning Instructor, I share my passion and expertise in the field of Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) with learners who want to understand how to protect their information and assets from cyber threats. I work as a Senior Information System Security Manager at AECOM, where I am accountable for the implementation of the RMF and serves as the principal advisor on all matters related to the security of systems under my purview. My goal is to use my knowledge and skills to empower the next generation of cyber professionals and to create a more secure and trustworthy digital environment. I believe that true success can only be attained with wisdom and integrity, and I strive to uphold these values in my work and life.
