I led all efforts to organize a TEDx conference hosting 10 speakers, 115 volunteers, and 220 conference attendees. 

- Generated $75,000 (a 30% increase from the prior year) in total donations and sponsorships.
- Increased membership base by 170% compared to the year prior.
- Implemented an Agile workflow methodology (Scrum) to maximize output efficiency and quality.

I managed and led a team of 14 people which curated talk development for all 11 speakers.

- Increased the number of speaker applications by 100% for the annual conference.
- Created a 2-week onboarding process for all team members to enhance talk development and efficiency.

I contributed to the systems engineering efforts for my primary project and helped drive technical development in an ongoing internal research and development project. Due to my meaningful contributions during the summer, I was offered the opportunity to continue my efforts during the fall semester.

- Leveraged AI/ML to enhance electronic protection capabilities for solid state radar systems.
- Implemented MATLAB scripts into a C++ compiler for live testing and optimization while comparing tradeoffs between runtime and output accuracy.

Upon entering this role I implemented and executed all of the changes that I proposed to the executive leadership during my time as a policy fellow. My efforts resulted in a major reduction of grammatical errors while reducing the time spent in the review process.

- Created 4 instruction manuals for all new policy fellows to educate them on how GGI conducts research.
- Conducted 3 statistical analyses and wrote reports for when there was an absence of available statistics and/or studies in an area of interest.

Director Of Research and Review

I assisted in all research and brief writing in the environmental policy sector of the organization. All briefs were submitted and proposed to local and state government officials for consideration.

- Identified a lack of standardization in document review and research and pitched a short and long-term plan to the CEO and COO which was implemented to minimize errors and streamline the review process.
- Contributed to 3 major policy briefs and advocacy projects.

Environmental Policy Fellow

I made meaningful contributions to the ongoing systems engineering efforts to develop and verify requirements on my primary project while simultaneously winning a business area wide intern competition.

- Created MATLAB scripts to model overall energy allocative trade offs within a system.
- Conducted 6 gap analysis on various requirements documents and identified and presented discrepancies to the project lead.

I am an early career systems engineer at Lockheed Martin with a Bachelor's of Science in both pure mathematics and economics from Penn State. Having experience in mathematics and economics gives me a diverse set of analysis and critical thinking techniques, as well as the knowledge and means to employ them. In practice it has allowed me to propose novel ideas to abstract problems at Lockheed Martin and the ability to optimize workflow and improve leadership development within TEDxPSU.
