I am all about problem solving and helping people — basically, a professional “fixer” that will happily tackle any challenge from process optimization or business transformation to implementing governance or completely revamping strategic initiatives. My love for problem-solving inspired my Mathematics & Computer Science majors, during which my competitive nature drove me to challenge classmates to arrive at not just *a* solution, but the most efficient solution. After 10 years in Financial Services, I spent a year living abroad, learning different cultures and embracing new perspectives. During that time, I co-founded a non-profit to affect & inspire positive change in each city I lived in. Working with refugees, disabled women, and young children emboldened my commitment to raise awareness of, funds for, and the morale of these vulnerable and marginalized communities. I returned to NY and am still delivering effective resolutions — counseling ~15 people per week via Crisis Text Line, raising $10,000 per year for local charities via Women Dine for a Cause, spending ~10 hours per month mentoring my "Little Sister" with BBBS, and bringing governance and enhanced processes to the Women's Education Project's Board, Council, and Committees so we can continue to help women living on less than $2/day find meaningful careers of their own choosing. More recently, I've incorporated my passion for social impact into my career by encouraging both businesses and individuals to transform lives, enrich communities, and preserve the environment through the everyday act of gift-giving. As I continue to learn, grow, and seek better, more efficient, more productive, and more profitable ways of doing things, I am committed to applying my skills in ways that align with my values and passion for constant improvement — for the world and my community, as well as for myself and others (via mentoring, coaching, continuous personal and professional development, education, etc.).
