Tasked with recovering the brand’s influence and goodwill among its large and vibrant community. I set a new vision and designed a new strategy that better mapped to the needs of the community and the business, built a skillful team of community pros to meet the outsized demands of our large community, and expanded our team’s influence, trust, and collaboration across the organization. 

As a team, we supported the community across 8 core programs and surface areas including the Webflow Forum and its moderators with over 4M monthly visitors, bi-weekly community live streams and quarterly product updates with the CEO on YouTube, Webflow Certifications, Global Event Leaders with over 100 chapters around the world, the community Speed Build Challenge at our annual WebflowConf, the Webflow Designers Global Facebook Group with over 20k members, the private Webflowers Slack community with over 500 members, and the Webflow Product Wishlist.

To support more proactive engagement and understand business impact, I partnered with Marketing to procure and implement tooling that allowed us to accurately gather and interpret community data and insights such as channel growth and engagement, community-wide sentiment, community champion signals, post-feature and event launch feedback, discovering trending community topics, and triaging otherwise hidden critical support queries across community surfaces.

Led the UX research and design effort for a large client serving nearly 1M monthly users in the small and medium sized business space. My work involved a heuristic audit, user interviews, a site-wide survey and analysis of user behavior data including scroll/click heat-maps and user observation. The research data was compiled into a UX audit report and wireframes were developed which were used to guide brand strategy and an improved website layout.

VOLUMETRX

I launched Volumetrx after discovering a solution to a common pain-point in the real estate buyer and seller journey. Buyers were looking for a better quality experience when previewing a listing. Sellers were looking to reach more distant audiences to sell their home. Still images and video used to showcase listings often fell short so I decided to offer the first and (at the time) only 3D VR tour offering in Southern NH.

Managed a small team tasked with spearheading a new market in Southern New Hampshire. The budgets were tight and the resources scarce but in spite of that with teamwork and dedication, we were able to generate awareness and capture market share for this novel real estate offering.

The Fellows, nominated by their deans and faculty, help increase student engagement with entrepreneurship, innovation, creativity, and design thinking at their schools.

Worked directly with entrepreneurial-minded students to foster the development of innovation and entrepreneurship on the UMass Lowell campus. Together we created engaging innovation based programs and workshops. I advised aspiring start-up teams and helped to illustrate the design thinking methodology.
