As an Email Strategist in the B2B space, my role involves researching client offerings and working closely with them to finalise the messaging for their cold email outreach while adhering to established best practices. This ensures I understand their company and offering to engage the right audiences and support leadgen professionals, with cold outbound at scale that’s powered by data analytics and provides pre-meeting insights 🚀

🏅Milestones: 

⚡️Introduced L&D component into the copy team’s retrospective meeting so we can stay updated and informed about the happenings of the cold email world. 
⚡️Exceeded expectations for reliability, quality of work, and collaboration with others as stated in quarterly reviews. 
⚡️ Initiated a support time slot to be available to a colleague based in Mexico so that the copy team is online one extra hour, on a rotating basis, once a week. Closing the gap in the time zone difference.
⚡️ Suggested creating a 'Resources' tab on the FTF website where older blogs, which were great resources about the cold email space, could be stored. The new blog section would have blog-appropriate content that would come from the newly established marketing function/team. Website changes made within one week. 
⚡️ Created a Notion task management page for a new product, COSMOS Consults. The goal of the task management page is to create transparency around the consultations and make it easy for anyone in the company to track its progress.
⚡️ Supported a new team member to understand the sequence launch process and setting up email sequences in Apollo.

Email Strategist

Call 2 Care 

Positioned in the Call 2 Care Communications Team, my role involved collaborating with the managing director and a team of dedicated writers to create blog posts for the website. The posts require in-depth research and lots of creativity to grab the attention of readers, with the intention of gaining private, and corporate sponsorship for all initiatives. The blog posts range across initiatives, including Spekboom for Climate Change, Paint & Sip, the iGardi Project & Club, and REVAMP.

🏅Milestones: 

⚡️Onboarded two new writers to develop a more robust blog writing function. 
⚡️Pivoted the blog function from being initiative-focused to considering thought-leader content as Call 2 Care celebrates 8 years in the NPO space. 
⚡️ Named as part of the veteran volunteers —> volunteers who offer their time for an extended period (+1 yr)

Lead Content Writer

As part of the blogging team, I developed various articles for the website alongside senior personnel and fellow writers to promote Call 2 Care initiatives. The role was created to increase the impact of remote volunteering, allowing volunteers to drive change from the comfort of their homes at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. With a passion for writing and a commitment to getting my words out there, I managed to mentor six new blog writers, teaching them all the ins and outs about organic SEO, effective CTAs, as well as defined times for posting blogs to boost audience engagement and blog views.

🏅Milestones: 

⚡️Introduced consistency into the blog function so that volunteer writers moving forward can easily understand the process and ways to move forward. 
⚡️Mentored 5 volunteer writers who each went on to publish a Call 2 Care blog alongside myself or other volunteer writers.

As a CV Writer within the TalentInc Campaign, I formed part of a diverse and dynamic team of writers, providing resume writing services to TopResume, TopCV, ZipJob, CVKnowHow, and AARP. Writing CVs is so much more than creating a professional document with a detailed work history - it's the tool our clients use to gain access to their dream jobs, successfully pass an ATS, and make it to the interview stage. The writing involved extensive research, clear communication, and making the client feel heard and seen throughout the revision process. At the end all we hope for is a client who is confident in using the resume developed to apply for the positions they dream of! 

🏅Milestones: 

⚡️Received recognition from the senior US writer for three client projects, with a 5/5 CSAT rating within the first 6 months. 
⚡️Gained editorial approval from the US team as the first member of my training group after completing nine compulsory projects. 
⚡️Maintained a CSAT score of greater than 85% since December 2021, reaching 96% in March 2022. 
⚡️Closed an order with 5/5 CSAT rating and zero revisions required by the client.
