Laith Williams's Linkedin Analytics

Laith Williams is DoD CySP Scholar, majoring in computer science and minoring in cybersecurity. He has had two past internships with Leidos as a software engineer and with a local web development company, Code & Trust, as a front-end developer. During his time at Leidos, he researched and experimented with multiple programming languages and presented to executive management to inform them with relevant findings. As a front-end developer, Laith assembled the front-end of web application utilizing the React JS library. Here he worked alongside diverse development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions. While attending the Citadel, Laith was assigned with the task to develop and present a crisis communication plan for increasing trust after the Boeing 737 MAX grounding. Presenting to Boeing executives and Citadel professors, Laith and his group members were evaluated based on presentation, critical thinking, and problem solving. Collaborating with team members, they were placed first out of four groups based on their plan.
