DataCore Software

Built an Event-Driven Architecture based application/Microservices using Azure Event Hubs in a Producer/Consumer pattern. 
•	Developed Object Model by gathering requirements from stakeholders and coordinating with team members.
•	Implemented application in Java and Python making REST API calls to Salesforce (SF) (which is one of the producers) and to Oracle RightNow (ORN) (which is one of the consumers) following Object Oriented approach. Also, validated SF data extracted in Excel by writing scripts in Python. 
•	Incorporated Key Vault, Consumer Offset and Schema Registry in the code, leveraged SSMS to query data in Azure Data Lake. 
•	Responsible for maintenance of legacy integration code between SF and ORN, tackling any production issues along the way.
•	Participated in RTS(Release To Staging) and RTP(Release To Production) activities. Some other tasks included building the Error Handling strategy, implementation of Email Alert Notifications for the service, working with Azure VMs etc.

Amazon

Developed a web application to query and display the relationships between customers along with a relationship score which is used to find fraud detection information at Amazon. 
•	Designed and developed front end using HTML, TCSS and TypeScript, tested using snapshot testing in Jest.
•	Integrated front end with back end using UploadFile, StartJob and JobHistory APIs. AWS Services like API Gateway, Lambda and DynamoDB were used for the same and the code was implemented in Java. Performed unit testing using JUnit, attaining a coverage of 95%.
•	Established Amazon’s internal front-end and back-end authentication and authorization by providing access to limited set of users through LDAP group.
•	Queried the database containing big data (~5 billion records) using hints in Spark SQL to get the results to be displayed on User Interface. Decreased data extraction time from 2 hours to 6min.

SDE Intern

EdPlus at Arizona State University

- Migrated the content from canvas site to CPE leveraging web content management framework, Drupal.
- Conducted scrums for the Design and Google Propensity teams. 
- Developed a script in Python using Google Colab to get the Story Points of each team member for a sprint which in turn saved a significant amount of Project Managers time. These Story Points were used to calculate Story Point Average that was useful in better planning of sprints accounting for team members' capacity.
- Performed Project Management tasks like creation of tickets, filters, dashboards in Jira, developed pie charts and bar graphs to report the work of various Marketing teams to the stakeholders using Excel and Google sheets.
- Worked on the integration of Jira Cloud with Slack and got this automation working on every team member's slack that notified them when they are the assignee, reporter, commentator, or the watcher of a Jira ticket. With this, multiple e-mail notifications from Jira was avoided.
- Set up automatic creation of Jira ticket when a Google form is submitted using Zapier.
- Worked on "Impact of Bugs on development" project and presented it to a team of 30. As a part of this, analyzed 15 sprints data and provided meaningful insights that ultimately improved the process of sprint planning and estimation.

Project Assistant

Collins Aerospace

Formed a team sized 10, trained them on product development and testing, managed them by taking the role of a scrum master, the team ultimately was responsible for a savings of 200K $ for the company meeting strict deadlines.
•	Developed project framework and programmed utilities in Python attaining an efficiency of 95%
•	Initiated and implemented a novel approach for handling coverage reports that reduced process time by 75% 
•	Verified and validated various features of Display Window Manager application in the cockpit of AW609.
•	Configured machines to simulate target environment and built Python scripts to validate the code in the target.

Software Engineer

Worked with US counterparts on Flight Display Software Application in Airbus C295 following D0178B & Agile methodologies.
•	Involved in Model based development (MATLAB Simulink) and used Microsoft Visual Studio as a debugging tool 
•	Generated various test cases to test the models in Python and used Python/XML for testing hand code. 
•	Performed Model-in-loop, Software-in-loop and simulated integration testing for flight display application. 
•	Performed data cleaning on the dataset (images and videos) from airport sensors, assigned labels for various objects like truck, runway etc. using Computer Vision Toolbox in MATLAB which was fed into algorithm that was trained to track objects on the ground from the aircraft that in turn prevented flight accidents.

Associate Software Engineer

Collaborated and coordinated in the modification of the shape of Flight Director from crosshair to cue-shaped which increased the accuracy level of finding pitch and roll information during the flight from 95.2% to 98.6%.
•	Performed Structural Coverage analysis (SCA) for models using MATLAB Simulink and LDRA for hand code.
•	Automated the generation of hand code SCA reports by writing Python scripts which in turn reduced manual intervention by 90%.

Project Intern

Worked on a project named "Channel Assignment in wireless mesh networks".
Performed Graph Preserving and Topo preserving simulations for various channel assignments using ns3 simulator which were used in comparing the obtained practical results with the theory.
