Deputy Director of the Deputy Secretary of Defense - directed Task Force that focused all counter IED efforts within the Department of Defense, while concurrently engaging academia, national laboratories, and industry solutions to defeat current and future IED threats endangering Joint and Coalition forces. Stood up the Joint IED Defeat Center of Excellence to integrate advanced technology, coordinate training efforts, and develop comprehensive training programs.
