At Cherry Red, we specialize in helping our clients (B2B SaaS) communicate their value to their prospects and users end-to-end through content, including automated email and omnichannel campaigns, to maximize their LTV and increase product stickiness. We’ve worked with companies such as Inlytics, GrowthBar SEO, and SiteGuru and helped them increase traffic by 70% (on average) and retention by 30-35% (on average). Internally, I have established processes to streamline my coordination and writing team’s tasks, resulting in less than a 5% churn rate.

In January 2021, I took on the position of Operations and Customer Support Manager, managing our base of 300+ writers and 800+ clients to ensure consistent quality and timely completion of content requests on our marketplace.

I've implemented and monitored processes and strategies that decreased our churn rate by over 30% in the first three months.

The guidance I've provided to writers has resulted in a 98% writer-facing communication satisfaction rate. Despite the growing number of our writers, I managed to retain a personalized approach in every exchange related to our clients' content projects.

I've successfully trained 10+ new employees on the functioning of our marketplace and treating our writer base as customers, which has been an immensely gratifying experience, after which my area of focus shifted towards Writer Success Management.

As Writer Ops Manager, I developed Contentfly's Style Guide for writers, continuously performed competitive research, and implemented campaigns targeted at writer acquisition and retention, resulting in a 10% MoM writer base growth rate. 

Since our internal restructuring, I've been the Manager of Marketplace Operations. My team of 3 employees and myself work with other groups in CX and Product to ensure our marketplace is humming, manage enterprise projects E2E, and assist in projects targeted at writer success, all of which has resulted in 4.6/5 average quality score.

As a freelance writer and content strategist, I've had the pleasure of working with hundreds of clients, primarily in Business, Digital Marketing, and B2B SaaS spaces. Some of the brands I've helped increase their conversion rates include Zero to Marketing, LowFruits.io, Portabella, and SimpleBackups.

Today I focus on the strategic aspect of content marketing (content strategy, on-page, and technical SEO. I help clients leverage their strengths to convert their audiences, regardless of the funnel stage. 

I believe in effective communication as the key to success, and SEO content marketing is just what the doctor ordered. There's nothing so gratifying as finding a way for my clients to grow, even if they're starting from scratch.

As Marketing Manager at Gamerjibe, a gaming startup in its pre-beta release phase, I was in charge of full-stack marketing: content, social, and paid advertising.

We successfully launched interactive omnichannel campaigns, leveraged paid acquisition channels targeted at our audience, and generated a 127% increase in Early Access signups. We also grew our socials from 15 to over 500 in a few months organically, thanks to our content strategy.

During my time with Gamerjibe, I executed our Brand Ambassadors program in collaboration with gaming influencers, continuously monitored our results through Google Analytics and other pertinent tools.

In startups (especially ones targeting gamers), innovation is the name of the game. The interactive campaigns we ran will always be a highlight of my marketing career.

As the founder of a platform created to promote intersectional feminist content and connect artists with brands that share the same values, I was the Wearer of All Hats TM. 

In our first year, we successfully planned our annual content calendar, published 100+ stories featuring different perspectives, and connected numerous artists with brands interested in their services.

I managed a team of 10 constant contributors/writers and frequent and guest contributors and created our style guide and content calendar.

Our primary marketing focus was SEO: on-page improvements, backlinking, and campaigns to grow our Domain Authority through content marketing. In our first year, we increased our organic rankings by 33% for relevant long-tail and short-form keywords (with DA previously at zero). We increased our social media following from 0 to over 300 organically. 

As 2016 was a turbulent year, it taught us an important lesson: you can carefully plan your strategies. You can plan your content two years in advance. But if your environment shifts, you need to adapt, too. And more importantly, you need to get immense joy out of doing whatever it takes to deliver the right words at the right time.
