Born and raised in Northern-Ontario, bilingual in both official languages - Lander stayed close to home and attended Lakehead University to study Criminology while playing with the Lakehead University Thunderwolves in OCAA. Following Lakehead, he attended St. Lawrence College, receiving his Law Clerk Advanced Diploma, graduating in 2019. Breaking into the scene, he joined Rayonier Advanced Materials (RYAM) as a Corporate Paralegal in their In-House Legal Counsel in Montreal, Quebec taking on the opportunity to work in both languages. Wanting trial experience, Lander moved to Calgary to work with a Criminal Defence team, focusing his work on Legal Aid files, representing clients charged with DUI’s to murder, all the way up to the Supreme Court. Lander cut his teeth doing corporate work and yearned to experience the rigours of trial work and saw firsthand how trials are won against all odds. Following his trial experiences, Lander went on to develop skills in commercial litigation, reporting directly to Senior Partners. Practicing almost exclusively in Big Law before committing all his attention to Elite Female Athletes in Cook Stark Management & LDC Talent where he's negotiated over $1M in contracts & high profile NIL deals. When not at the office you can find Lander on the road training for his next marathon, playing with his dog Bucky or in stadiums working with the best female athletes.
