Seeking to make the transition to I.T. with excellent communication skills and teamwork over 16 years in the restraurant industry. Between 2018 and 2023, I have studied and obtained several IT certifications with Microsoft, Cisco and the CompTIA A+, D.O.D. 8570 compliance standard and also I'm pursuing a Technical Certificate in PC and Networking from Southwest TN Community College with one class left on my curriculum. Also I've been doing labs using command prompt, laptop disassembly and observing IT technicians working on desktops at my job to gain experience but always willing to learn new things as if opportunity arises. My skills include Active Directory, Command Prompt, network security, LAN/WAN, troubleshooting, critical thinking, multi-tasking, TCP/IP, time management, organizational structure, workflow development and cloud infrastructure. When I was a teenager, I was always curious and knowledgeable of how computers operate with data and networks used to communicate with end-users in a geographical standpoint starting with the first computer-based repair with the Playstation 2 game system. My hobbies include reading historical fiction/mystery novels and hiking. I've also been named Employee of the Month four times during my tenure in my current job for extraordinary work ethic and hoping that those skills will help others and keep up with productivity in the long run. I have known to have a caring and supportive personality to other people when difficult times occur in the workplace. I am open to any entry level opportunity including help desk, desktop support or computer hardware technician.
