At Citrix, I led the go-to-market strategy for the client-focused area of the business. In this role, I participated in customer and market research to serve as the voice of the customer (VOC) and helped guide the product roadmap. I applied these insights as I developed product positioning, messaging, and storytelling strategy and enabled Sales, Support, and Marketing in order to deliver a unified message to customers. I also collaborated cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to align on the GTM strategy and achieve common goals/KPIs.

Senior Product Marketing Manager

At IBM Watson Health, I managed the consumer health product portfolio, which consisted of 3 products: Watson Assistant for Health Benefits, Treatment Cost Calculator, and Benefits Mentor with Watson. 

In this role, I brought new, federally-mandated features to market, deepened my understanding of the payer and healthcare consumer market to inform messaging and positioning, and empowered sales and partners to sell our products confidently through enablement and training.

Additionally, I worked cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing to gain alignment and drive pipeline and revenue goals.

Product Marketing Manager

As part of the Globalization team, I redesigned the asset globalization process (globalizing assets like whitepapers, infographics, etc. for all Geos), which encompassed several teams and tools and didn't work effectively. With the new process, we reduced the delivery time from multiple weeks to fewer than 14 days (to align with the web globalization process).

Using the process, our team was able to globalize web pages and accompanying assets in time for a major product launch for the first time ever. The achievement was recognized by former IBM CEO, Ginny Rometty, via the employee website.

In this role, I also contributed to various stretch projects, including managing aspects of the IBM redesign in 2020, which included coordinating updates to the IA and navigation across the various sub-sites, and defining the governance for various marketing processes.

Through Endear Content, I worked with brands to build data-driven content that attracts, engaged, and converts their target buyers. We offer content strategy, content creation, message development, copywriting, and go-to-market strategy consulting.

As lead content strategist, I managed content for 10+ clients, which included strategy development, content creation, content editing, and publishing. As part of this role, I helped develop buyer personas and style guides, conducted market research, and managed relationships with freelancers in order to produce quality content for clients.

I also implemented a content planning process that helped to better align content to clients' business objectives, boost search engine optimization (SEO), and most importantly, generate more leads for the client. Within a couple of months of applying the strategy, one client experienced a significant increase in website traffic and inbound leads through their website.

Content Strategist

Advance Auto Parts

In this role, I managed marketing content for the e-commerce business, including social media, the company blog, and sponsorship assets, including videos and images. This included partnering with design and content strategists to plan creative campaigns that encompassed landing pages, blog, social media, and other marketing channels. To support online and in-store sales, I also launched and managed Facebook and Twitter ad campaigns and conducted A/B testing to optimize ROAS.

I attended company-sponsored events and collaborated with sponsored athletes and public figures to promote launches, capture a special event, or design co-branded campaigns. This often included writing scripts for co-branded video, collaborating on social media assets, and partnering on launch assets like press releases.

Marketing Content Coordinator

AlphaBEST Education, Inc.

At AlphaBEST, I served as the content marketing manager for two brands, AlphaBEST and ExtendED Notes. My responsibilities included creating marketing content, managing the ExtendED Note monthly newsletter, attending industry events, and managing social media accounts. 

In this role, I also led the redesign of ExtendEDNotes.com and transitioned the physical monthly newsletter to a fully digital resource. This also included converting newsletter content into blog articles to help drive traffic and SEO. During this time, I grew as a thought leader in the afterschool education space, even gaining recognition as an afterschool advocate, and collaborated with other business groups to build brand awareness, reach new audiences, and grow the consumer base for the ExtendED Notes brand.
